If anyone is interested, they seem to have picked up a big shipment of graphic novels and coffee table books. My store had a whole aisle devoted to TPBs both Marvel and DC (with some other random ones I didn't recognize thrown in).

I picked up Wolverine: Enemy of the State for a couple bucks, also saw plenty of Captain America, Spidey, a few of the various Civil War stories, plenty of Batman, Wonder Woman, Supes... They were pushing a DOFP novelization as their "big bargain" but no way was I buying that.

Also snagged an American Girl visual guide but you guys here probably aren't into that.

Default Thread Revival!

Stopped by my local Ollie's today, it was 99.9% DVD, but there was also this sign (YMMV):

Season 8 of Little House on the Prairie for $5.

Also, in case you want a Stephen/Owen King book for $7, they have them:

And for all the comic enthusiasts, OMG! Two shelving units on the back wall stuffed with so many graphic novels they're falling on the floor! (I didn't do it):

All I got was:

I visit Ollie's occasionally and the locations I've seen have only a smattering of actual Blu-rays, mostly ones like Don Jon and The Oranges leftover from 2-3 years ago.

Picked up two more GCs from Ollie's this morning. $5 each; hardcovers and "deluxe editions!" :

I'm hoping they still have these around when they send out the next coupon!

PS: They had the paperback of Superman For All Seasons for $4, but I chose to go with the HC for $1 more.

Yep, sign up for Ollie’s Army. They send them several times a year plus you get one when you spend so much

Mine has an entire double aisle devoted to comics/TPBs now (more than last time), but selection really varies. Kind of annoyed they had some for 5 bucks that I bought at retail several years prior...

Default Ollie's Bargain Outlet

Just a head's up for those with an Ollie's Bargain Outlet in their area, I dropped by today and they had all of their DVDs/Blurays 50% off the normal price (note the only way of knowing was they had paper signs taped up on the shelves that hold the DVDs/Blurays). The store near me has a ton of DVDs (mostly older TV seasons) but not a huge selection of BDs.

I picked up Aspen for $1.08 and a Hitchcock DVD collection for $2:

Gonna have to check my store out next week, hopefully the sale is still going on. Like to find Aspen that cheap.

My local ones got in a bunch of graphic novels though. I could go broke in there.

My store has the 50% off deal, too. (The store used to be two sides of a small isle, but one side is now graphic novels.)
I have a feeling they are trying to ditch their movie section or downsize based on a new Ollie's I visited that had a very small selection.

The store nearest me basically had no DVD stock last month. When I went in yesterday, they had 4 large rolling carts that were 5-6 shelves each side. There were two rows of DVDs on each shelf (so you had to move things to see what was behind them). I spent a good 30-40 minutes going through most of the stuff. Lots of titles that have popped up at Dollar Tree in recent sales, such as the first season of the Increasingly Bad Decisions of Todd Margaret and the DVD copy of Bag of Hammers (they easily had 30 copies of each of those).

Someone mentioned graphic novels and I also noticed that when I went in last month they had those laying on a table, but yesterday they had two of those rolling carts similarly stuffed that had also been added.

New store just opened and it's the largest Ollie's I've ever seen. They aren't carrying movies.
