I didn't see the rating but I don't recall Nick producing PG-13 material back in the 90s.

They had "this film is not yet rated" for quite a while before they decided on PG-13. If parents are freaking out about it not being a kid appropriate movie at PG-13, then they'd definitely freak out about it being PG. The only other Nick movie that was PG-13 is Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. The movie isn't meant for little children, it's meant for teenagers who most likely watch Victorious or anything along the lines. Dan Schneider's shows for example, have always had "inappropriate" jokes that the younger audience may or may not understand. I haven't watched Fun Size yet but I'd assume it's a step up from that.

It seems like a VERY weak PG-13. I wish they would've gone all out and made it Easy A/Mean Girls PG-13

Interestingly enough, Tina Fey's original script for Mean Girls was rated R, and was filled with sexual innuendo and "wall-to-wall titties" (Fey's words) in the vein of such teen sex comedies as Porky's and American Pie. It was toned down after Lindsay Lohan was cast in the lead role, due to the fact that she was then considered a family-friendly teen actress (which became hilarious in hindsight after she followed the rest of her family down the path of sleaze). Even then, the film had to be edited further to receive a PG-13, a lot of crap got past the radar, and an astute observer can spot some lines that were dubbed over in order to tone the film down. The "made out with a hotdog" line was originally going to say "masturbated". The film was a lot filthier before it was PG-13ified.

Those shows were more mature (not explicit) than I'm assuming Fun Size is but I wouldn't rate them anywhere near the same way.

Just rented. Fun movie. Perhaps a bit half baked but a good watch. Great cast

I had similar thoughts about this movie... but you've got to love the ending, that little kid was damn funny.

To add to the Nickelodeon and its innuendo past, I recently rebought Snow Day on DVD and lol some of the jokes in that film are PG-13 related.

Don't know if this has been mentioned. But I was at Walmart today and saw the DVD version. And on the case was a sticker that said exclusively sold at Walmart, and it had different cover art, and no features on the disc. They were selling it for $14.96

Anyone see this? I wonder why its exclusive to them with different cover art.

odd they would have a exclusive cover for this.

lol I love how Victoria is dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and she's carrying a Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon bag. Nickelodeon executives must be stoners!

This movie is great, BTW! I really wouldn't call it a "family" film, but whatever.

It's listed as being with Vudu, like that's some sort of special feature. But when I was there today, it looked like the day after BF. But I guess that's what it looks like when they're changing stuff over.

I never watched Marvin Marvin. Mainly because I don't really care for Lucas Cruikshank. His Fred Figglehorn character annoys the hell out of me.
