Logistics take time, give Epik a break.
That's what Karen told me as well when I placed my order for my second Empire.

Just wondering what your guys sub trim is at. I sit about 10 feet away from my dual Empires, the AVR trim is set at 0, and the empires amp's are at only 1/4th the way up, it seems way to low to me.

That is almost identical to my Dual Empire set up.

The Dual Empire subwoofers are really powerful. I'm sure I would have been just fine with Dual Legends. Still glad I got the Dual Empires.

There is a Bass note in Total Recall (2012) that I can't hear but it really rattled the windows....Yeah. Boom Boom.

Yea there good, I need two more though, but I have no money now , I watched that but I moved my Subs but the bass was bad, and I watched Total Recall, but I didn't hear any good bass, but now I moved them, and they sound much better, before I had a null in the 60hz range, and now I moved them a couple of inches and its great now, BTW what scene was the part at, that you were talking about?. Thanks

I don't remember the scene, but mine POUND.

Try messing with placement. I actually have mine in opposing corners.

There better now, just moved them about two inches, and it made it a lot better, crazy how such little movement can make a difference. How loud do you normal listen to movies? I just watched some of Resident Evil Extinction, that soundtrack is loud, at -20 from REFERENCE LEVEL was loud.

Anywhere from -20 to -15. It depends on the disc.

Is my sub dead if while I have it on it makes a white noise sound? Only have it plugged to the wall no prepro. Any ideas? Also been calling epik with no answer. I did send a email. Any news if they are in fact honoring their word and warranty?

Are they out of business? They haven't had any subs to sell in months.

Is epik out of business? If so what amp could I get to replace the one on my empire? I really want to have this sub in my bedroom.

Been calling everyday with no answer. Leaving messages each time for help. Going to continue to do so. Would be nice if they would just try to help the best they can and show appreciation for supporting their company the best I could.

It took me about 4 days to get in touch with Chad when my Legend amp blew. It's a PITA but once I did talk to him, the rest was cake.

Well I own an Empire with a dead amp. My attempts to contact Epik include calling countless times, leaving four or five voice mail messages, and sending a couple emails. Now that I have researched the issue It appears I might have to give up and buy an external amp in order to salvage this thing. Any recommendations for an external amp that will perform at least as good as the factory plate amp?

I'm not an Epik owner but I can't count how many posts I've read on the forums about issues with their product with no support. Regardless of your inventory situation or any other issues your business may have, Customer service is #1.

Nothing worse then buying an expensive product only to be "ignored" when problems arise. Pretty piss poor on Epik's part.

The first thing I would do is remove the amp and measure the "load" (impedance) at the two leads connected to the amp. This is important information to ensure the next amp gives you expected longevity. You'll need a DMM but you can get a cheap one at sears/walmart for $15-20 if you don't have one. After that it is mainly deciding if you want to spend the time/effort trying to find a match for the plate size.....or do you just cover the amp hole with a piece of MDF(with binding posts) and use an outboard amp. Measure your amp(the physical dimensions), something like this might be work
