I really love Toby the Pup cartoons though! Halloween (31) is on the new Blu-ray of "Grotesqueries" and it's released as of last night on Amazon. It's been in progress a while, and its now happily released. Pre-orders for this and Angels are still going out as of yesterday as well.

The other release yesterday is Edgar Guest's Poetic Gems, a collection we didn't have any pre-order for. It's produced by Thunderbean from the collection of Dennis Atkinson at the Library of Congress. It's a really neat collection of shorts produced in 1931- and lots of bonus stuff>

Are both of the Angels films done, or just one of them?

Just one -- and the other is still in cleanup.... trying to get as many things all set as possible, but have started sending the first by itself-- too much cleanup left on two. I was really trying to get them both out together. Three releases out in July so far and two special sets done too, but still trying to get more and get everything to everyone.

Excellent news, hope to receive my Grotesqueries per-order soon, along with the finished special sets I still have on order. Any plans for doing any more Toby The Pup cartoons?

No Toby comment!

Summer is a fantastic time for growth at Thunderbean as well as finishing projects and getting things to everyone. These much have been especially hectic but productive, and I'm concentrating on helping the team get out the things that are getting finished. The financial resources are the biggest hindrance at the moment with Thunderbean and affecting our ability to get everything sent a little, but I'm seeing the light at the end of the rainbow (and the rainbow parades set as well). The hardest thing at the moment is trying to keep up with all the pieces, and affording enough staff to move forward everything as fast as I'd like to. Some of this gets much easier as a new title gets released if its popular. My postage bill this week is already over $600!

Thanks to all of you for supporting these projects. I know I say that a lot, but it's the thing that keeps it going.

A major project we've been working on for many years is now moving forward, and we're trying to work out the logistics of this and the others. More on that soon but please no speculation. Our two major (biggest) projects besides this (Rainbow Parades and Willie) are both coming along and getting close to having volume 1 done for each. After those are out others are quickly following.

The long-rumored complete remastered Rainbow Brite collection no doubt...

Default Looney Tunes- Missing in Action!

More films for the 'All Censored' Blu-ray showed up here today- even better copies on a few films! We have a scan session Monday for these and another group on them after a period where the scanner wasn't available.

We're hoping to get 'All Censored', '1967', 'Toon Club' and 'Terry/LantzFamous' all sent in the next week or so along with the other titles that just got done. Now, to dub and get all these out the door! There's a bunch of things gong out the door this week still, including some long late things out of the country.

One of the collectors lent some other films with this batch not on DVD or Blu-ray, so we're doing another special set called 'Looney Tunes Missing in Action'.

This set (BD-R) will be scanned from nice 16mm prints of 13 Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies from the 30s and 40s not on DVD or Blu-ray. If not the last of the sets, it's at least pretty close to it!

The set is $15.95 plus $4 postage to the US, $8 to outside the US, and $12 to other countries. If you have any others already ordered the shipping is free. Paypal, as usual, is steves@thunderbeananimation.com. Please make sure to note 'Looney Tunes Missing in Action' in the paypal note.

Thanks to all for supporting all these projects!

Ordered. Thank you Steve. I am a huge Looney Tunes fan and really looking forward to this disc. Also very glad to hear 'All Censored' is close to shipping as it's my first purchase from Thunderbean.
Now I am hoping you will offer the 1946 half live action/ half animated feature again sometime soon - it's one I've wanted to see again for a long time., and was surprised to see it mentioned a couple of weeks ago in this thread.
Thanks again!

It’s a special set, BD-R disc with no artwork, so it won’t be sold on Amazon.

Of course, you have already scanned at least one of them — Halloween (1931) (from a French release print titled Toby Chez Les Lutin’s but happily with the original English soundtrack) on your fabulous Halloween Rarities special set — and Tommy Stathes was kind enough to include The Milkman (1930) (also from a French release print with original soundtrack) on his first Cartoon Roots set, but I’d love to see more!
The Museum was included in a special disc. I don't remember which one now, probably the Thunderbean Thursday 2017. Check the list of special discs.

Order placed, Steve! I've been out of touch and missed some of the other recent projects, but I look forward to this one. Thank you!
