The bad news is that we sold our house so the Home Theatre is being dismantled. The good news is that we bought a new house and I will be starting from scratch on a dedicated HT with projector. Stay tuned and I hope all my friends on here are doing well!!
HE IS ALIVE... Hows it going bro. I hear we are going to be neighbors soon. More GTGs. Hope all is well and if you need help with your new setup I would love to be able to.

How's it going Doug? We will be neighbours and yes I would love your help. Going to knock down a few walls, put up a few and sound proof the room.

How's everything going with you and I'm sorry I missed your GTG...

Howdy Chris.......I see all is well, and then some. Congrats on the new place. Sounds like you'll have it just the way you like it, projector as well!

So, I assume everyone is doing well? Is Sabrina walking yet, I assume she would just about being doing that by now, right?

All is well on my end buddy.......I have added zero to the HT...way to many "life events" with the house and yard have popped up and drained my Ht funds over and over again. So sadly, I am still trying to save enough for that Onkyo 3008.....maybe next year.

Hey there John, thanks so much, the HT is last on the list for upgrades but at least it's on the list.

Sabrina is not walking yet, she sits up and turns around, that's about it. She's progressing in other areas such as communiaction, she's pretty smart.

What happened with the house and yard? Or should I even ask?

As far as my house, we had to get the 2 year old oven fixed, and then 3 months later it died. We had a fried circuit board, so we were lucky it didn't catch fire. So we got another new oven (even better one) just 2 weeks ago. The fridge needed to be fixed in the last 3 months as well. Then we kept adding things to the yard, etc.....but all is not lost. A good part why I have no HT funds is because I decided to save up some money and was able to payoff a $100 a month loan and yes, I finally paid off the Harley (6 months early, thus saving another $265 a month.) So, between the new job and it's increase in salary, and saving another $365 a month in debt being paidoff, I have an extra $500 in my pocket each month that I didn't have just 4 months ago. The sad thing is I still seem to be saving only the same amt of money I did before all this happened, so I'm not sure what is going on there. However, I think my kids just need more stuff now, so more than likely that is what is happening.

Sabrina will be walking in no time from what you say. As far as being smart, they all are....they really remember lots of things going on around them and it just sinks in.....and before you know it, they are using that knowledge. My son says all kinds of stuff now at 2 1/2 yrs old, like "what the hec," "oh my gosh" etc......all in the correct context, so it makes us laugh. Kids are truly amazing.

The home sounds like a winner....how many square feet is it, and what size is the room going to be once you knock down some walls? Now is a great time to buy a house with record low mortgage rates, so your timing could not have been better.......and of course, one last question, but are you buying a new house so you'll have room for another little one in the near future?

By the way....awesome new pic of Sabrina, about time!

Yes, they can really suprize you - my oldest daughter Anna could recite the entire "The Night Before Christmas" when she was only 20 months old - I even have it recorded on videotape... We only had to prompt her twice, with a word or two when she would get stuck... heck, I couldn't even do that myself!

Thats pretty funny Troy...I swear my son can read his favorite books already. Sure some of it is just memorization, but it is still impressive.

Wow, I'm glad you're saving a little more each month. Nothing like a new job with an increased salary! Hope your enjoying the new job. Are you able to come onto BD a little bit more now that you've adjusted?

The new house is about 3500 square feet compared to our older house which was about 900. lol! Lots of room for the new baby, 4 bedroms, 4 washrooms, pool....

I want to create a moderately sized room, not too big like I have now where the sound just dies in the room. I'll definetely lay down carpet and sound proof the walls this time. It's exciting but at the same time, bitter sweet because we loved living in Toronto (the new place is just outside of Toronto).

Damn, that's a Massive Upgrade in space; you might get lost in there! Good luck on the new HT build.

Wow! Sabrina has really grown quickly. Love the new avatar; she is adorable.

New house! Soundproof HT!

Michelle just passed 6 months, hard to believe we just came home from the hospital. She has been very, very vocal lately Not so much cute cooing anymore, more like happy bellowing.

Nice to see you back posting Chris! And again, congrats on the house! Also, I'd be more than happy to help out with the new HT room.
