Lot more money to be made if not tied down to DirecTV.

I would assume Amazon would aggressively pursue streaming rights.

I like the convenience of being able to stream games on my laptop/iPad in bed. Not that I'd do that for every game, but I like having the option for some primetime games that run late.

Sir Gronk has retired. He's one guy I'd love to sit down with and have a few of Odin's finest ales.

He has been contemplating this for a while. And if the reports are true that he hasn't spent a dime of his NFL earnings and only lived off his endorsements he seems smart enough to get out while he can still move and function normally.

He has nothing left to prove and only more injuries in his future. Obviously the greatest TE ever. Dude was amazing

One of the best definitely. It's too many great ones to say he's the greatest.

One of best definitely not the greatest. It's too many great ones (John Mackey, Ozzie Newsome, Kellen Winslow Sr., Shannon Sharpe, Jason Witten, Mike Ditka, Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates) to say he's the greatest.

Gronk couldn't stay with a team whose owner has such low morals below his. Had to move on.

All they have over him is longevity. No one was more dominant at the position.

So it's their fault Gronk couldn't play longer.
They have a lot more than that. Those guys were great players. Difference makers and set the standard for players like Gronk. Longevity(it counts also) my ass.

Wow real old guys. Sharpe, Witten, Gonzalez, Gates all played this century so no they weren't real old guys. And those real old guys should be counted. So just count new guys. Do we start counting when it's convenient for you? Please. They played the game too and were great.
