Default The Brick $1 blu-ray players with purchase (canada)

The Bricks 3-day loonie sale

according to the commercials

buy a hi-def tv and get a blu-ray player for $1

not sure if its canada wide, should be, because the bricks likes to price and offer deals according to the area

the Blu-Ray for $1 is not just a "Brick" sale. If you look at most retail ads in Canada right now, almost every store has a deal on Blu-Ray with TV purchase. Sony is offering this deal to all dealers, buy a Sony HD Bravia and get the BDPS300 for $300 - $500 off (depending on the TV model).

No, it would be NFL on the $1 and college football on the $5. The other sports have been dying a slow death in America for awhile now.

The general circulation Canadian $1 coin has a loon on it, hence Loonie.

The $2 coin is therefore called a Twonie.

It's amazing how much we can buy nowdays with just pocket change.

the Brick is known for overcharging , then "giving away" tv's, cameras,whatever...to make it seem like a good deal. it's just their sales gimmick.

I've spent all day reinforcing my pockets for Japan. Everything under 1000 yen ($10) is coin

The Brick will give credit to almost anyone though, so a lot of people with bad credit shop there. They also give you a long time without needing to pay, so a lot of people who shop there WILL have bad credit really soon. (on a side note, one company screwed my credit up so badly even the Brick wouldn't give me $500 credit to buy a clothesdryer!)

Oh they are also involved in a lot of promotions, my dad bought a brand new house and was given a $3500 Brick gift card to go along with it...
