Default My 3rd system located in the bedroom

I want to clean up the bedroom system with a TV stand which includes a fireplace... you know make it romantic and such... I'm having a difficult time finding a product which can easily fit the AVR's girth, 17.125"w x 6.75"h x 17.25"d. and able to hold its 34 lb shelf weight.

I located the following.

This will work if I leave the backs off on the side shelves

Leaving the backs off again...

There's just not much out there and I dont have the wood working tools to make one either. Where do you guys go to find audio furniture?

Get creative. Having a system in the bedroom comes in handy when you want to throw on some Al Green...

I've updated my bedroom and secondary systems. The PSB Alphas were replaced by PSB 400 in the second system, and the Alphas replaced the PSB mites in the bedroom. The Alphas were also placed up on the wall as shown .

I found an original matching center channel to the PSB Alphas off of Ebay so I bought it and now have my bedroom system upgraded to a 3.1 system.

are you enjoying the addition of the center channel? how has it changed what you got in relation to the phantom center from your previous 2.1 sound?

I haven't tested it out yet with a BluRay. I would suspect that I would not expect much of a difference when watching from the bed but I sit in a recliner on the opposite wall from the wndows and I would definately expect it to anchor the sound better from that angle. When I do watch the screen, I can pull it put and angle it to the right so my view angle is improved.

Here are some updated pics with the new Samsung display. I had to lower the center channel speaker a bit and used the opportunity to hang it straight. Those logitech mounts aren't the greatest to square. I squared them initially on the verticle plane but the horizontal plane was slightly crooked. I hung then squaring them on the horizontal plane as its most noticeble there and the verticle plane is slightly off but hidden behind the speaker so its not noticeable. Here are the updated pics with the new Samsung display..

I upgraded a travel trailer to a 20' Travel-Lite Falcon F20 in fire engine red. This trailer came with a 19 inch LCD TV display. Now I need a source. I was planning on using a cheapy portable DVD player I had bought for the kids when they were young for long trips home to visit the grand parents. Well today, I thought I would visit a "Value Village", a used goods store. I found of all things, a Panasonic DM30 BluRay player without a remote for $20.. The store gave me 7 days to test and return it if it didnt work.. I wired it into my bedroom system and programmed it. It works perfectly playing CD, DVD, and BluRay without a hitch. Its physically bigger than the Sony BluRay player so the Sony gets commissioned to trailer duty.

Here's the pic..
