Was nearby so decided to stop at Giant Tiger today. Unforgiven was sold out but was able to get Pacific Rim, which was the one that I wanted the most. Also got American Ultra for $6.99.

my local Giant Tiger (Etobicoke) got rid of most of their Blu-rays. Just a handful left. Most of the display is DVDs right now.

My local GT has diminished its Blu-ray stock and carries mostly DVDs. Pretty soon they will take those out and replace with VHS.

Yeah, the Toronto locations are really disappointing. I remember when I went to Gravenhurst, their GT had lots of great titles. I got Sleeping with the Enemy and War of the Roses for $3 each. Sadly, they were stolen when somebody broke into my locker and I foolishly left them in a box.

Went to GT today looking for new 4K titles but they didn't have any. However, the $4.99 blu-ray and $2.99 DVD sections were restocked so I got the following:

Harry and the Hendersons (blu-ray)
Brewster's Millions (blu-ray)
Great Expectation (2012) (blu-ray)
Natural Selection (2014) (DVD)
Kill For Me (DVD)
Code Red (DVD)

The Giant Tiger near me still has Blu Ray's and Box Sets, and just put out a LEGO display with the various LEGO MOVIES in it for $9.99 or less with slipcovers. The only ones I didn't see was Lego Ninja (I think that's the title) and Lego Movie 2.

I notice Fresh Co is starting to carry the same displays as Giant Tiger, and have the same pricing stickers as Giant Tiger and Shoppers Drug Mart. I assume the same distributor

I saw most of those when I was at Giant Tiger last weekend. Too bad I don't have a 3D setup or I might have bought a few.

They also had How to Train Your Dragon 2 3D for $9.99. (one copy had a slipcover)

My brother was at Giant Tiger today and messaged me this.

I'm not sure if he thought I'd want it or something, I already own the Walmart exclusive, but it'd be an okay price if I did.
I also see them quit often at around that price.

Saw 2 copies of The Secret Life of Pets 4K today for $9.99. I already own the blu-ray and was not really a fan of the movie but didn't want to leave empty handed so I bought one. I have heard mixed things about the 4K transfer so it will be interesting to watch it with my own eyes instead of just reading reviews on the internet lol

I haven’t seen the 4K edition but I’ve been seeing the standard blu Ray with the additional toys at GT for 14.99. Also saw the 3 disc Smurf’s box (all three films), ice age box set and despicable me 1-3 box sets for 9.99 each this week, but sadly no 3D editions which is what I collect.

I also saw blu Ray copies of Rogue One at Giant Tiger. For me personally it’s the first time I’ve seen something Star Wars related in a discount pile

Not too uncommon, I remember seeing a few copies of force awakens from time to time, most of the time they are PV copies and sometimes don't have the DVD (if your into that sort of thing)
