Hmm. If that's the case, I would shop online at the Arrow/HamiltonBook/Kino sales and have them shipped to your hotel.

Will, I forgot to recommend Barnes & Noble.

Not only are they open late, but some stores have a huge selection of Criterion and other boutique labels.

However, you have to be careful. Some stores are 'Express' outlets with only minimal book stock. You should call around as you likely have a number of locations in Akron and find the ones with the largest inventory. Some stores may have several hundred titles.

Not to mention there is also a 20% off coupon that is valid this week.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't have any extra time to check out Barnes & Noble (even though I ended up driving right by one), but I will be attending the next meeting of this particular committee in Houston in November, which is typically when they have a Criterion 50% sale. It'd be nice to save the shipping any tax for once.

I've never had something shipped to a hotel for me though; are hotels typically pretty friendly about that. Being a good Canadian and all, I don't like to inconvenience people

No inconvenience. I do it all the time.

As long as you have a reservation with the hotel, they will hold all packages for you until you arrive.

Some of the fancier hotels started charging a $5.00 processing fee, but I would say the majority of them do not. Still, $5.00 is often still worth it.

It's quite wonderful actually. In the US you can track packages so you know when and where they are delivered. I've ordered from many online shops including LaLaLand, Disney, B&N, and eBay as well. You just have to do it early enough that they will arrive in time.

I travel for work, and have shipments sent for work all the time. It is part of their business.

I hate Houston though. Went there a few times and got robbed there. Bastards stole my laptop, but at least they left me my Blus in the trunk.

Make sure you keep you Canadian passport with you on-person (or in a safe) at all times!

Houston is pretty rough, but they have a few good second hand movie stores which had a lot of stuff I hadn't seen before.

I'm heading to NYC.

Can anyone recommend some good stores to visit for used blu-rays and 4kUHD movies??

Please let me know.
