assumed most Canadian retailers would "Ship to Canada" but seen as you have a list, ToyRUs.ca ships to all provinces in Canada http://www.toysrus.ca/helpdesk/panel...ethods#methods

Turner Classic Movies ships to Canada, however shipping is very expensive (and they use DHL which charges duties).

However you can find deals that make it worth it.

I placed a couple orders that have started to ship to me, so will report on how well their shipping is and if I get hit by fees from DHL.

My one TCM order came via UPS, and there was no duty.

That's cool. I'm hoping for the same since my item cost $15US with $21US shipping on top and shipped via DHL.

Not sure where else to post this, but just thought I'd share my most recent e-bay experience.

Ordered a copy of the American-version of Bad Words from a supplier located in Ontario. Wanted American for the slipcover since the Canadian one didn't get a slip.
Got it fairly cheap at $11.99 US with $3.50US shipping came to $17.xx CAD on the card shipped. Received it today, with a slightly damaged slip, however it was shrinkwrapped so I quickly gave my positive feedback to the seller before I forgot.

Then I sold the digital copy code right away and when I opened the plastic wrap to retrieve the dc I noticed the case was slightly cracked on the bottom and the DVD disc was missing! There was a spot for it, but it wasn't there at all. Seems like the set had been used and re-shrinkwrapped then sold as brand new. The seller has 99.6% feedback with over 1600 transactions so seemed trustworthy. I've since written to him hours ago and still awaiting a reply...

I don't normally order from ebay. I have a copy of the American version of Oculus coming with slip from another supplier that should get here tomorrow hopefully. But just curious if this has happened to anyone else and what my options are? I don't want to go through the trouble of sending it back, especially since I already sold the DC.

I'm just pissed he sold it and advertised it as factory sealed brand-new and it clearly is not. Even the DC sheet inside was all bent up and mangled like someone re-stuffed it back in there quickly. Thankfully the code was unused.

Best advice I can give is to see what the seller has to say when/if he replies back. He might give you a partial refund. You can also file a claim with PayPal but then you would have to return the item back to the seller.

This also happened to me in the past. I contacted the seller and he remained surprised. He bought his movies in a wholesales lots from another seller on ebay. So he did not know that it was open. He give me a refund on the missing disk.

Has anyone ordered anything from blowitoutahere on Ebay? I noticed that they use DHL on international orders so I am worried about duties.

I've ordered plenty of times from them through ebay and I've never ever been charged duty.

Overstock.com ships to Canada.

Though it seems like the prices are different. I was on the US site and saw Twin Peaks for $68 but on the Canadian site its $92.

I didn't bother to check shipping rates but they say on the product page that "Taxes, Duties and Shipping will be added during checkout"

Umbrella Entertainment (http://www.umbrellaent.com.au) in Australia ships to Canada. Their shipping charges aren't cheap, but the Australian dollar is favourable to the Canadian dollar and they have some really good sales on there (Many blu-ray's less than $10AUD. Shipping was very quick - they shipped my order just hours after I created it and I got it within a week. No duties.

Arrow ships to Canada, and I got free shipping during their big sale they had a couple of months ago, but not sure if shipping is free otherwise. I got UK versions of their US releases (also playable on Region A) for much cheaper than they would be to buy on Amazon.

Regularly, Arrow's shipping is free as long as you spend 50Ł.
