Yes and no. Japan still gets an occasional game on Vita but Sony has stopped making cartridges for most if not all regions. Though companies had leftover stock. Vita systems are also no longer being made. Limited Run Games still is releasing some previous titles that were digital only before but Sony has mostly killed off the Vita themselves.

ya know i never understood why they stopped promoting it, i remember it being promoted before it came out, like the playstation magazine that i still have and damn i wish it was still around. but after it came out does anyone remember outside of that

anyone promoting a vita game? sure you'd see a Lego game come out and it say which consoles it was on and Vita would be on there but that's about it. the wii U flopped for the same reason and than nintendo is actually promoting the switch and ya know what? it's been a huge hit for them go figure ya know?

Finished Walking Dead: Season 2.
Great characters throughout and an intriguing storyline.

Highlights of season 2:
Episode 3 - I made a choice of watching Carver get killed. He deserved everything that he got.
Episode 4 - I left Sarah to die. She was a whiny kid and a waste of time to help.
Episode 5 - I shot Kenny. He was becoming mentally unstable. Sad to see him go, though.

I technically have 4 of them, 2 PSTVs (one modded to allow whitelisting so I can play unapproved carts), an original fat model I am loaning to a friend and a slim model.

I have two - an original OLED model I've had near ten years or so & a modded blue slim model which I only picked up last year.
I'm tempted to get a third modded slim so I have a back up, I also want to get a back up PSP at some point as I only have one (my original 1000 model).

Works well enough for its purpose. (To play the game carts that won't run on the one that can access PSN)

I have an OLED Vita I bought about one or two years ago and only today I actually started using it. Modded it and can now play PSP/PS1 games on it.

PSP games look quite nice and there are options to change the video quality.

My Vita was a 3G model so I downloaded an app and it disabled it, so this way I don't see "No SIM" anymore.

I still use my day one vita. great system that is ahead of its time, except for 2 things, the proprietary memory card and proprietary charger (even though they fixed this in the Slim model, but you'd lose the OLED)

I know it's not going to happen, but I wish Sony would release a new handheld. a vita 2 in a world where the Switch exists would be interesting

I finally got rid of mine. I have an astigmatism, and the small screen was starting to mess with my vision. I've switched to streaming to my gaming laptop from my PS5.
