5 championships from 4 teams is terrible, Detroit had a chance in the 1st half but once they dropped than INT it was over. Their defense is horribly over-rated and New Orleans is unbeatable at home. 45-28 is about what I expected, really hoping the Saints get past San Francisco so we can get possibly the highest scoring play-off game ever.

Yea, I've seen that "Hell Freezes Over" show on HD-Net (DirecTV) & it does look & sound great. Not sure I'd get it, but prob will for one reason only: To hear the Great guitar "parts" of Don Felder
[Show spoiler](as most know, he wasn't on this Tour/DVD/CD, & HE came up with the Guitar Part that became "HOTEL CALIFORNIA")
. I read his Excellent book, "Heaven & Hell: My Life in The Eagles (1974-2001)", & he tells Everything, & is not SHY about the jerks that were/are Don Henley & Glenn Frey. I saw that tour, had Great seats -- 3.5 hrs long, with a short break in between -- That's the last time I want to give Henley/Frey MY $$$$$$.

PS: Open up that damn QUEEN Blu', Rookie "alleged" Music Fan!!

Yeah, that missed INT changed the game. I don't see anyone beating the Saints. They're a machine.

I saw The Eagles on their last tour several years ago. No Don Felder obviously. But man, they sounded good. Henley is a pompous ass. I've seen him solo too. He's so damn arrogant. Frey was kind of witty, telling a few anecdotes between songs. Walsh was hilarious. He came out wearing a Twins jersey and looked like he was the only one having a good time on stage. Timothy B. Schmidt was like the obligatory drum solo. Time to take a piss and get a beer.

Lol. Good luck to the 49ers. It should be a shoot-out and a fun game to watch.

Just doing some last minute ramblings before I hit the hay.

People with "BRAINS" know what an arrogant prick Henley is, & Frey, if to a Tiny bit lesser extent. The old "If he was on fire, I wouldn't cross the St. to piss on him, applies for Henley.

Good afternoon Jeff.

How's your weekend going so far?

Well hopefully this Tuesday LG will announce their full TV lineup for this year. And here's hoping that the 72" and 84" are part of it.

What's happening, Zepher?

The weekend as always was too brief. How was yours? Do anything fun?

So when LG announces their line up and both the 72" and 84" are included in their US plans, will you be ready to pounce?

P.S. I like the new avatar.

We took the entire family to see this same tour here in Northern California. The best part of the concert I saw was Walsh also. I particularly liked all songs that Walsh played from his solo career and the James Gang. It was over three hours of quality live music from the Eagles .

I agree. Walsh rocked it and looked like he was having fun. I tell ya, they sure sounded sweet though.

Yeah the weekend was way too brief, but it was a good one. Had some good eats at a gathering a friend had at his ranch on Saturday. Today I just kicked back and caught up on the rest of the rentals I had.

If LG does have plans to release the 72" and 84" in the US this year, I'm definitely ready to pounce. I'm ready to get a new TV right now, but I expect that their lineup won't be available until April/May at the earliest. And if the 84" is released, and is priced in the $14K range, I might still go for it. I expect it to be way more, but at $14K I'd wait to get it over the 72".

If the 84" is in the $20K+ range, then I'll go for the 72".

If LG has no plans for releasing either, then I'll reluctantly go with an active 3D set. Hopefully something will be announced on Tuesday.

And thanks for compliment on my new Avatar. It's simple but nice. I couldn't find a Martin Logan Logo I liked with a black background, so I made my own.

Hi Zepher.

Sounds like you had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend. Since you were hanging out at your friends ranch, was BBQ on the menu?

I think the 84" 4k tv will probably debut at more than $14k. Probably closer to the $20k range. Depending on where you buy it from, I bet you will be able to finagle it for a few grand less. Then again, if it's their flagship they might not be willing to budge that much. My fingers are crossed for you, amigo.

You made your avatar? I like it. Sometimes simpler is better. I like your color choices too. It turned out quite nicely.

I think BZ is further along in the series than I am. I took a break from watching it over the weekend. Too many other shows were backing up on my DVR. I'm at the part where
[Show spoiler]the other Battlestar Pegasus arrives and takes over command from Adama. Chief and Helo have been sentenced to the death penalty and Adama has sent a squad of marines over. That's where I left off.

You're right, he is further then you. That was an intense part too.

[Show spoiler]How did you like that part when Adama was better and went to the planet to get the Prez, and he seen the other boomer, and what she whispered. He almost had an heart attack ... lol
