A few weeks ago, a fellow poster posted in the DVD Movies sub-forum thread for TV series Spenser: For Hire, about the series of Spenser novels written by Robert B. Parker, and later Ace Atkins.

Considering trying one of the Spenser novels.

If you have never read any of the books I recommend starting with A Catskill Eagle. MOST enjoyable. Check out your local library. Get a library card (it's free).
