Default Twin Peaks (TV series) reference books

Thought there was already an existing thread about books (and magazines) about or related to the TV series Twin Peaks.

Anyway, in the April issue of film magazine Sight & Sound (the print version), there was ad for a few film and/or TV reference books. Among the books was Twin Peaks (TV Milestones Series) by Julie Grossman & Will Scheibel.

After checking Amazon UK for the above book, saw a Twin Peaks-related book available to pre-order called Laura's Ghost: Women Speak About Twin Peaks by Courtenay Stallings. It's out towards the end of August.

The only place I can find it available from at the moment (in terms of it shipping), is on the website for the Twin Peaks fanzine The Blue Rose. A new book has been written by someone to do with The Blue Rose magazine called Fire Walk with Me: Your Laura Disappeared. All I can find on Amazon.com and Amazon UK is a Kindle version.

However, I think the shipping charge on the Blue Rose website seems a bit steep in my opinion.

My copy of Fire Walk with Me: Your Laura Disappeared arrived today (pre-ordered from Amazon UK). Not had a proper look at it yet, but am so glad to finally get a copy.

I came across 2 copies of the companion book to the show at Dollar Tree about a year ago. Looked interesting and was gonna pick one up, but I never seen any of the shows. Watch me check out the show in the future and like it, then I'll think back to finding the book at DT. lol

edit - this was it:

[Show spoiler]
I'm basing this on what you said halfway through your post above, but you haven't seen any of the three seasons of the show? Have you seen the film prequel Fire Walk with Me? Myself, I've been watching the show backwards, lol. I saw bits of the first two seasons, but never any of the episodes in full. This was followed many years later by seeing a one-off screening at a local cinema of Fire Walk with Me. I saw the third season in full when it originally aired a few years ago.

Hopefully, planning on watching (for the first time) this autumn/fall the first two seasons (the Blu-ray releases). I'm hoping that Fire Walk with Me gets shown again in UK cinemas during the remainder of this year, as this year marks the 30th anniversary.

I haven't got any of the issues yet, but there has been a Twin Peaks magazine called The Blue Rose. Many moons ago there was a Twin Peaks magazine called Wrapped in Plastic.

Yeah, I think Mark Frost actually did two volumes like that, and I picked up both. Started reading one and after about halfway through I think I more flipped through the rest and glanced at certain pages more closely from time to time, and did the same with the second. Maybe I need to go read them again, as a lot of what was in there was interesting, but it was just sooooooooo "out there" and "in depth." The whole thing is meant to look like a "scrapbook" of the history of Twin Peaks, with faux newspaper and magazine articles, etc. Can't say I loved them (or even really liked them), but for completists maybe they'll come in handy. Next time I take a look at them, though, it's going to be like right after I've rewatched the entire series (including the great movie), cause you really have to be completely lost in that world in order to take away anything from these books...
