The store also had the other book the author did, the one about Washington and Benedict Arnold. Even though I have a decent interest in history I passed on it.

I read that one! I found it at Ollie's.

Pretty good if you enjoy that era of history. Philbrick is good at telling the story.

Benedict Arnold was a real piece of work!

Has anyone recently found A Kim Jong-Il Production in Dollar Tree? I first heard a reported sighting about a year ago and have been checking the book section at every Dollar Tree I visit ever since with no luck. I don't know if it was in a old assortment or if it's newer so it would give me hope if someone else has seen it recently.

Went back to a local store and saw this was still there, so I bought it:

I regret passing it up last time and was glad to find it again.

I know it probably doesn't help responding a month later to a post, but I have seen this book at a Dollar Tree here in L.A.

The only thing is I don't recall which store or when I saw it, but it must been in the last few movie waves. I remember it because I think there's a documentary that's similar to the book and plus it's a nice looking book.

Hope that helps.

Oh a book thread! Found Princeps' Fury by Jim Butcher at my local store while hoping to find Bruce Campbell's Chin book. Don't have any of the other books in the series (yet) but now maybe i'll look.

A local store had 2 copies of this. I was looking at it and was tempted to buy it. Even though I haven't seen any of the shows, the book was so damn well done. About a week later both copies were gone. I hope a fan picked them up and not some reseller.

Hardcover copy. Oddly enough, I suddenly got all precious and left it because the back of the dust jacket was torn on the bottom. Really weird glitch on my part, cause I normally have no problem buying battered used books from thrift shops for about the same price. Hopefully, it's still there when I go back today.
