Exclamation A Song of Ice & Fire Book Re-Read Thread

With the TV series halfway through to it's epic conclusion, I thought it would be a good idea to read/reread the series starting from book 1. Would anyone be interested in doing that? I though it would be entertaining to read and discuss a chapter each week. Hopefully, I'm not the only one

Yeah, I was actually thinking about a reread, how about we include the Fire & Blood book (another unfinished series by GRRM) and the Hedge Knight novellas as well? Maybe even the World of Ice and Fire too.

Yea, that sounds good! I'm hoping we get at least 3 more people, so that we actually have a small group.

Might try the GOT thread in TV forums, not sure how many folks visit the book forum, lol
I just posted over there, so we will see what happens.

Check out this beauty: https://www.foliosociety.com/usa/a-game-of-thrones.html
I know this is out of most fans' budget, but I couldn't resist... As a big Folio Society fan, I know this is the best possible release this series will ever get, and as popular as the series is, will probably sell out and go for astronomical prices on eBay.

I just bought Fire & Blood, getting ready to start massive, incomplete re-read. Starting with Fire & Blood (not finished), the Dunk and Egg stories (not finished) then ASOIAF (you guessed it, not finished).

Folio Society's new edition of A Clash of Kings is now available for pre-order: link
Again, it's pricey but I think it's worth it. I ordered mine already.

The third installment in George R. R. Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ saga is available as a two-volume Folio collector’s edition: click here.
Still expensive, but this is by far the best edition to get imo, if you can afford it.
