That's a bit misleading. All the differences come up in the audio mix and not the film itself. No version has ever surfaced with the end credits intact so it remains something lost like the uncut ending of FRWL.

The audio mix was always the way it was heard in the mono mix until MGM did their stereoized remix in 1995 for the Laserdisc boxset and it introduced the alternate dialogue lines and music cues. This was remixed into 5.1 and carried on to DVD and because the default track for the film from then onwards.
There has never been any information as to where this alternate source came from but my guess is either UK andUs differences or an abandoned 70mm blowup test mix.

The easiest thing to do for the series on BD is get Bond 50 or the Black box at the best price. Bond 50 is super cheap and if you can live with the packaging is the best way to go. I'm still peeved I thus missed out on the EoN docu though!
That said I hardly watch them as I'm always watching my LD versions with better audio...

The steelbooks are my favorite packaging:

I hope K transfers of the Connery films and Lazenby film will come soon.
