Interestingly, the only country that still hasn't gotten this film theatrically yet is Japan, yes they might get the film late, but i would be interested to see if the film gets a blu ray 3D release over there. |

As far as 3D presentation goes it's 1. Coraline 2. ParaNorman 3. Kubo and the Two Strings 4. Boxtrolls Boxtrolls felt like a 2D most the time. |

The thing to remember about Coraline, is that they deliberately ramped up the 3D to make the 'other' world seem more exciting, so to contrast this, I would expect the everyday world scenes to be shallower than some might have been liked. I haven't made a direct comparison, but none of the other Laika titles impressed me quite the way Coraline did. Sounds like they may have taken the narrower inter-ocular setting on Coraline and just used it as default. I saw them all theatrically and bought the 3D-Blurays. Up until Missing Link. I have no idea about that film or its 3D, and unfortunately it looks like I never will. |

It’s very disappointing that Fox did not release a 3D disc of this when they released Alita: Battle Angel with a 3D disc just a few weeks prior.
I was thinking LAIKA had a massive control over their home media disc releases similar to James Cameron. And LAIKA supported 3D as hard as James Cameron did. |
