Loved this movie. $25.99 is steep, but I decided to order it today from Amazon.

I have not seen this movie yet, but plan on getting it on Tuesday. I have a real quick question. Just checked out the review...why the f@#$ is economist Paul Krugman in the movie (no spoilers, please)? That guy is such a huge pickle sniffer! Does Russell Brand confront him about being dead wrong about the economy all the time?!?

This is one people seem to love or hate. I really enjoyed Sarah Marshall but I turned Greek off after an hour and have sold it on already. First movie I haven't bothered to finish in years.

yea this movie is getting a lot of praise, however the trailer looks dumb and it didnt make me laugh once.. i think i had enough Elvis Snow from FSM.. don't know if i can handle him in 2 movies.. will give this a rent though

I liked the film - I think it's one of the best comedy of the year (haven't seen Other Guys) but then again, I don't remember many good comedies this year at all. Lot's of great one liners, Brand, Hill and Diddy are hilarious.

I'd recommend a rental.

I REALLY wanted to turn it off after the first half hour, but gave it the benefit of the doubt. I was embarrassed after the movie was over, complete waste of time.

Default Get Him To The Greek: Should I Splurge, Save or Rent This?

I first searched the forum for answers to this question, nothing materialized. So begs the question to those who've seen it, should I splurge on a purchase, wait for a rental copy or simply save my money? I know the reviewer here liked it but that's just one person's opinion. Looking for a title to watch tonight along with Frozen (rental copy). Didn't find Forgetting Sarah Marshall all that great, if it helps at all.

Why not read the Get Him to the Greek thread? There are lots of other opinions there.

Do you find Russell Brand funny? If not, then I would say you could pass. I found the film to pretty funny, but I'm not sure how often I would watch it. I'm thinking about picking this up because I heard the music videos are included among the special features, and IMO they were the best parts of the movie.
