I've watched the BD and I can say that it's a different transfer. It's not the one used for the Ultimate Edition, because the image isn't cropped. I'd like to post examples, but I did at said forum (with the SE and UE comparisons), and I was banned there.

I must say, it's a pretty good quality Blu Ray.

Can anyone tell me where (or if) they are in the stores? I've been to four different Wal Marts but cannot find it. Help?

Hmm, I went to my local store in Chiefland, Florida and they had the display up for the Bond singles by the cash register in electronics. I'm guessing some stores didn't get the display or haven't put it out yet, they also might have stuck the display somewhere away from the electronics section up front near the registers or on one of the main aisles.

Sadly the GoldenEye Blu-ray can't be found via search on their site anymore.

Has anyone found the Goldeneye Blu-Ray in Canada yet? I can't seem to find it anywhere, including a Canadian Walmart.

I just watched it on Saturday. Unless i just simply didn't notice, i didn't really notice these 'wax like' faces that people are claimming it to be. I dont know if i just didnt notice them or my settings on my tv are just right to block it out. However, i did notice how fake the weapons were in the beginning of the movie with Bond'a Ak47 (hopefully i got the gun right) when he had it held up when he was trying to sneek past to find what happened to 006.

One other note which i need to go back onto the UE Goldeneye is, when Bond was on the boat trying to spy on Xenia, there is a semi-loud hissing noise between when he got on the boat and after he defeats a guy who was trying to kill him. Did anyone else notice that too?

I was impress with the HD and pleased that i didnt have any problems with it but unless there was something i did differently, i swear the DTS on The Ultimate Edition DVD sound alot better then the DTS-HD on the blu-ray. But then again, i dont have a proper DTS System so i dont know if it was something that made it seem better then what it should of been.

If there is a website/youtube comparrison of the Blu-Ray to the older release, please let me know. I like to know what the issues people are clamming.

Same here. It's apparently not an exclusive anymore, but I call BS on that. Even with the good flick, bad disc review on Highdefdigest.com I want it.
