Funniest movie i've seen this year, by far. Including Horrible Bosses. While i like The Hangover, i had way more laugh out loud moments in Bridesmaids. The airplane scene alone had me in tears

Was dragged to this one and found myself loving this one more than The Hangover. Also, I'm glad that people were reciting lines from it everywhere like they did with The Hangover, which really killed a lot of the jokes. I'll definitely be buying Bridesmaids when it's out. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of humor. I was laughing out loud from start to finish, which very rarely ever happens in movies for me.

Bridesmaids Unrated Blu-ray Release Date and Details




Update: Universal today formally announced that Bridesmaids on Blu-ray and DVD has a release date of September 20. Furthermore, the Blu-ray and DVD versions will include the theatrical cut and a new unrated cut that runs six minute longer at 2 hours and 11 minutes.

Bridesmaids on Blu-ray will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. In addition to a packed in DVD and digital copy version, additional bonus features will include the following:

* DELETED SCENES: Tons of deleted scenes, plus a never-before-seen "commercial" for Brynn and Gil's Oo-Laka Juice.

Can't wait to get this. Definitely one of the few really entertaining movies I've seen this Summer. September is going to destroy the wallet. X-men, then Thor, then Star Wars, then Bridesmaids. All buys for me.

Finally Amazon Canada has Amazon US beat in pricing, pre-ordered it at 22.99although knowing pricing in the states it'll probably fall to like $17-20 a week before release. Curse you Amazon US.

I like the cover a lot! I knew special features would be solid. Apatow movies are always packed! Plus extended movie!

Kinda bummer no commentary though. Would have loved a Wiig one...either way, one of the best movies of the year by far with enough special features to satisfy me. Commentary would have really put it over though. day 1

What is going on with the limited time version that's showing up for $25 pre-order right now? I've heard nothing about it and when you click on it, the edition that's been shown in this thread, and was thought to be the only version, it does say "other" version for the one already pictured here. I don't want to miss anything special on this release. Thanks.

There is a commentary. Whoever excerpted the press release above forgot to copy the DVD features (the release would've split it into "DVD and Blu-Ray" and then "Blu-Ray Exclusives").
