To answer my own question, it does come with 2 commentaries and all of the extras on the US edition. Universal International didn't skimp out this time.

Please, they did "skimp out" like they almost always do.

The video for the main feature on the UK release is encoded at a lower bit-rate compared to the North American release - 29Mbps vs. 33Mbps - and it's entirely possible that the extra features have also been encoded at a lower average video bit-rate, compared to the North American release, as this is something "Universal International" have done on some of their other releases.

Moreover, this is yet another stupid ****ing "Universal International" release which uses one of those less than pointless and and beyond grotesque symbol menus.

Britain is an ENGLISH speaking market and not a ****ing SYMBOL speaking market.

Universal's North American BD release of Pitch Perfect has menus in ENGLISH, not ****ing SYMBOL, and it also contains a superior video encode for the main feature, compared to the Universal UK release.

The stupid morons at Universal UK could easily have provided the UK with the superior North American Pressing for Pitch Perfect, like they have on many of their other releases.

This senseless shit they keep doing really does drive me round the bend.

Since the international release has many more dub and sub tracks, this may be the reason for the lower space for the video. As for the symbols, it's a small bother.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be difficult to make an argument that she's kinda the break-out character. Certainly more than Kendrick's (slightly nasty) lead.

Rebel? And you know there's no chance of that, right?

Was going to buy 2 (no thread?) for my wife and thought better to get a double pack 1&2. There isn't one, really odd? Isn't there always a double pack for these sort of films and there is one on DVD.

Any reason?

It would probably bump up the price too much. You can get the German double-bill for about £16, but buying the 2 UK films will costs about £20 at the moment (with UV copies).

Pitch Perfect was released in a double-bill with Bridesmaids.

Cheers Chips, they usually have a new sequel at £13 and a double pack at around £17/£18

Looks like I'll have to spend the extra.....lucky girl
