Best part is the last 30 seconds, when they actually have a hangover... Cuz they didn't the entire film.
Best post on this page!
Not cuz RedRunner's bashing it. It wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. But because RedRunner is the only one who pointed out that it wasn't a "Hangover" film.

The title "Hangover" means: they intentionally or unintentionally do something that alters their mind. They wake up, hungover, and see mayhem. They have to figure out what happened. Hilarity ensues.

There was no hangover that preceded or proceeded a film full of laughs! The lil' clip during the credits doesn't count.

They did that last time and everyone said it was more of the same, but not done as well. Kudos to them for trying something new. Although I do see your point. Peraps they should have capped off the trilogy with another similar story. The one from the credits scene would have been great.

Hangover I is one of my all-time favorite comedies. Very funny & also very cleverly put together. Hangover II was also quite funny. I laughed out loud at numerous scenes in both films. Also, being a child of the '80's, I liked the iconic songs that closed out both movies (Right Round in I & One night in Bangkok in II)...

However, I thought Hangover III was one of the worst films I've ever seen. Not at all funny, and they completely abandoned the formula that made the first two movies work so well. I understand that they didn't want to copy what happened in the first two, but they still could've come up with something original and kept the same basic plot, i.e. they wake up, don't know what happened, and have to piece everything together & resolve everything by the end.

Obviously, if they had started H. III with the aftermath of Alan's wedding, that would have made a decent film. Based on what we saw during the credits, this would probably have been the most messed-up story of them all This should have been the beginning of the film, not the stupid giraffe in Alan's truck.....

Do the ending-credits-reveal-scene mean that there's going to be a 4th film?

It should and I belive the below should be plot points, When in the scene the cake was from Chow, they assume it was Leslie Chow and they find out it was not, it was from his wife he mentioned in 2nd film getting revenge on the Wolf Pack for getting her husband into all kind of crazy situations.

Stu's tits were his punishment from Jades doctor husband who is mad the Wolf Pack was around his wife.

IIRC, there was an interview last year with one of the Hangover actors, who stated that there would not be a 4th film.

IMHO this means nothing, however. If Hollywood smells money, there may be a sequel at some point down the road...

Yeah. Just looked it up. Both Bradley and Zack said they are done with The Hangover series, and they will not do a fourth.

That said, would Todd Phillips dare make a fourth without them?

My problem with part three boils down to common sense; if you don't want part three to be like the others because, naturally, you've been there done that, and the formula is tired. Yet, you have to totally abandon what was fun about the first two by making a film that has nothing to do with the title... etc, then your answer is: Don't make a part three!

It would be like me making a film called, "Ninth Inning" and it having nothing to do with baseball

and IF you believe they would not do a 4th film based on what they said in that interview when cash is waved at them, then you are naive.
