Just talked to vudu and they confirmed it's real and not a scam! Check your email!

They were never added. There was some (prob. still are) listed on their blog updates as being added, but a handful never were enabled.

If I were you, I'd convert as many films as you can now. I don't see Comcast/NBCUniversal continuing this if/when the acquire Vudu.

Then go to director/extended/unrated cuts.. only one i could think of atm that isn't available on Vudu to buy is Watchmen Director's Cut

This definitely makes me nervous. The d2d/md2d aspect has probably been the most appealing feature and it'd be a real shame if they got rid of it. It's one of those those things that for me made Vudu unique and stand out from competitors.

Best Buy had a disc to digital program when they owned Cinema Now. Flixster had d2d too. Why do people seem to think that Vudu's d2d is exclusively tied to Walmart?

No idea, was gonna say the same thing that other retailers had a d2d program too lol, probably coz the other places shut down too early

Kaleidescape still has a D2D program. It's more expense though. $6 instead of $2 to convert a Blu-ray to HD.

But bottom line that it's still something that most of the studios support and it's not just a Vudu/Walmart thing.
