Downloaded the app 3 times. Nope. Still forcing me to use this awful browser version. I had the old version just a week ago on the same phone. Sigh.
Dang. I'm using the app from google app store. It still gives me the version from the photo. |

Are you using the latest version of the Vudu app? When I click on disc to digital on the app, it is similar to what op was talking about. You don't scan any longer, you capture pictures and then it populates the movie. When I click disc to digital, it gives a bunch of information. There's are links for learn more and faq. At the bottom, it even states use disc to digital from your browser.

Yeah. As far as I can tell, we have the same version of Vudu installed. When I click to do d2d though, it's like it auto opens a web browser and when I click the x in top left corner, it closes browser and puts me back at home page on app.

Looks like you're running an earlier version of the app ending in 30_3. I'm running 31_1, and I'm experiencing the same behavior that gaastra is.

I'm as up to date as can be on mine, just checked. Sounds like a new update has screwed with D2D as shown in the post above

I'm running the 30_3 and getting the issue. Maybe it's just a random glitch? To check it earlier, I did 3 d2d and all 3 went through, but it was definitely a different experience. Hopefully it's a glitch and not something they are rolling out a bit at a time.
