I've been on a horror movie kick the last 2 weeks. Through Fanflix's 3 movies for $5 deal, I've grabbed a few, all redeemed at Vudu. That 3/$5 puts them HD/UHD for $1.666 each. Here's what I picked up including a note if they're on D2D.

• The Voices
• Cooties (avail. D2D),
• American Psycho (D2D),
• The Cabin in the Woods (D2D),
• The Ninth Gate (D2D), and
• Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Others in my Vudu library that are on D2D:

• Cube (more psychological thriller but good indie movie)
• Saw 8-Film Collection (hard to argue with 8 movies for $2)

I generally tend toward comedy/horror genre more than slasher movies.

For anyone having problems with the app, it seems like now you need to have a payment method on the account even if you have credits.

Also I converted my 4 lethal weapon movies DVD and it gave all 4 in HD on vudu for $5, but only gave 1 of the 4 movies (LW4) on MA.

1-3 are Dir. cuts which are exclusive to Vudu and are not MA, only 4 will port to MA.

Don't forget great pumpkin charlie brown is still d2d! Wish vudu had garfield halloween. Did buy it on prime however.

It only shows that you own 1 and not the others?

My list of movies shows only LW1 (whether on computer of Apple TV) ... but when I go to the Vudu site and search for "Lethal Weapon" (as if I was shopping) it shows I own all 4 movies (all director's cuts). And my iTunes and Movies Anywhere show I only own LW4.

That's very strange. The first three movies in the D2D Bundle aren't MA so they don't port, there is only one version of LW4 and it is MA so you should have that in your MA account. I have no idea what's going on, might want to call VUDU and ask about it.

They require to to be able to tell that you're at your own billing address. Fun fact, if you have credits, you can use a non-expired $0 balance Vanilla Gift Visa card with any billing address.

I am in-office T-Th each week, so I used that as my work address when I want to redeem during those days since I don't come home those nights. Then I turn it back to my regular CC when I'm home.

In case you haven't noticed, Vudu has removed their search feature on their M2D page. Not that is was helpful at all, but just letting y'all know. Remember to check digitalupc.net for titles and working UPCs!

I noticed that either yesterday or the day before... not that it was very helpful, but at least it was a quick and easy search.

That doesn't sound like a good sign to not let people know which titles are eligible. Hopefully they're just working on the site/app; it'd be nice if were improved as opposed to removed. A lot of people also seem to have more trouble getting the app to work over the last few months. Given that md2d is the only such type for any of these companies, I'm hoping Vudu don't think they're "losing money" by keeping it around and are even considering of retiring it. The cap of 100 scans is arguably a reasonable compromise. I personally love the feature even if it's no longer the golden days where there was a half-off bulk discount and an unlimited amount of yearly scans. And I like phone scanning since I no longer use a computer with a disc drive; that had become fairly outdated and limiting over time. The lack of regular title additions in itself has been kind of worrying. If anything, I'd like to see them make more progress. It'd be nice if they could for example allow for uhd scans and figure out a way to trade previous purchases in for Vudu credit towards different movies/tv. They've kind of been sleeping on their best and most unique feature that no other streaming platform offers.

I feel like I am beating a dead horse here. I moved six months ago and I am still getting location not matching billing address error on my iphone d2d scans.

-I have verified that all my credit cards have my new home address and those were changed immediately after the move. I have tried each individual card as well.

-I have verified GPS is on in safari (I even turned it off for a minute and turned back on as suggested somewhere)

-I have verified that safari/google is showing at my current address and it is correct

-I have removed credit card from vudu account, go to d2d scan and there is an option to add payment. I have entered credit card info and billing address correctly.

-I contacted Vudu a month ago and have not heard back



Anyone have any suggestions on what they did in this situation to get there's working again?

Anyone have any suggestions on what they did in this situation to get there's working again?

For a while, I was staying at my GF's house during the lockdown which wasn't my billing address. I went out and bought a $50 Vanilla Pre-Paid Visa card. That allows you to put ANY address as your billing address.

Then once it was expended, I used that to show my 'new' billing address (Disconnecting all other CC's and Paypal). Then I was paying for movies with a Vudu gift card, but that fully expended Vanilla card was still tied as my billing address. When I disconnected it, I'd have to add the Vanilla card on my phone to get to the address part.

Now, I keep that same $0 balance card to verify my address and still pay with Vudu gift cards.
