I always find it easier to do force login before starting a d2d session. I just go to the payment methods and the site will want me to sign in again. I also don’t use the app to d2d, I just go to the website. It’s possible that the redirecting is messing things up, along with having to sign back into your account.

Unfortunately, the app isn’t messed up. Google is now like Apple and wanted to charge 30% for in app purchases. So, for Vudu to get around that, they redirect you to the website.

I tried using the browser, it does the same thing. Just keeps cycling me back and forth between green button to scan and the log in page (even if I've logged in already). Sometimes (rarely) I get to the location/billing checks but then it just tells me I either don't have location enabled or that I have no payment method provided, so it still won't let me do anything. The furthest I've gotten lately was a few weeks ago and it let me take a picture but then tells me it's already in my cart.

Have you tried to view the cart, whenever you get to scan something? If you were successful in scanning it at point, then it could have not emptied the cart and kept the titles in the cart. Also, have you tried a different browser or in incognito mode?

Have tried Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, but not incognito. I did try to view cart and it was empty. If I had actually added it to cart, then I'd have assumed that was the case... but it said it on the first try, and it was the first time I'd even tried to do it since they took the actual in-app scanner off, so it had plenty of time to clear my cart. Vudu just doesn't like me anymore, I guess.

My willy wonka d2d we did long ago just got moved to the front of "new purchase".

I could have sworn i had hdx but then again i got it long ago so it could have been sd? Could have sworn it was hdx so not sure why it moved to the top.

vudu finally updated their end so there are now 2 wonka entries, the old HD listing, the new 4K one.

Mine shows an HDX of both the original listing and the new one. Totally stumped today why it was showing as a newly purchased movie...

Same thing happened to me and I know I had the HDX version. I changed it to an alphabetical listing and now it shows I have 2 Willy Wonkas.

This has happened to me too. I just tried it again a few days later and it worked for me. Not sure what causes it to loop.

And it ticks me off because my 4K redemption has now been downgraded to HDX and they are refusing to do anything about even though i sent them proof i redeemed the 4K code and up until this update it was in UHD on my library

So both Willy Wonka listings are showing HDX? And what does MA show (both the title’s listing and recent transaction history.)

The second copy is due to those that owned an HDX copy or redeemed the UHD in Vudu before they fixed it. All they did was make the new Vudu listing link to the old listing in MA and the original listing in Vudu linked to the new listing in MA. If you did own a copy before the UHD release, then an MA refresh or buying/redeeming another MA movie will probably add that extra copy.
