Hello! Just wanted to shamelessly plug my new Slasher film "Slaughter Drive" here at blu-ray.com.

Starring: Seth Gontkovic (Demon Tongue), Nikki Howell (The Barn), Steve Rudzinski (CarousHell), Jack Davis (The Other side)

Synposis: When failed filmmaker Doug Stevenson leaves his video camera in the local park overnight he accidentally records something horrific. To top it off it might have something to do with his new neighbors that moved into his quiet suburban neighborhood. With the help of his bumbling teacher buddies Doug goes on a wild ride to save himself, his friends, his ex-wife, and the entire neighborhood! Featuring a killer throwback soundtrack and splattery practical FX find out who will stay alive on Slaughter Drive!

If you're a fan of the Barn you might dig this flick! Not as heavy on the nostalgia but has a killer soundtrack and great gore effects from Cody Ruch who teaches at the Tom Savini school here in Pittsburgh.

Oh man, I forgot about this and totally missed out on both VHS and DVD.

Glad a blu-ray is in the works. Still really want to see this movie.

I decided to be adventurous and order the Blu-ray. This looks like a lot of fun.

Film looks interesting but why a bd-r?

There's been some great/fun horror type films released since 2006 that never have really had a bluray release which makes no sense imo. They get a DVD and or a vhs, but no bluray.

These are limited edition copies from a smaller distributor. Hence the bd-r.

Buyer beware. This is a BD-R and not an officially pressed Blu-ray. I would not have purchased it had I known beforehand. Shame on me for not doing my homework before making the purchase.

That said, the poster is cool, and I’m sure that I’ll get a kick out of the movie.

Just be advised that the disc is not officially pressed.

EDIT: Ha! I just saw the handful of BD-R posts that were written after I last posted here. Gotcha.
Still, I normally make it a policy not to support BD-R releases, because there are more than enough officially pressed releases to keep me busy.

I’ll review this movie properly when I do watch it. Looking forward to it.

Just want to say thanks for all your support folks! My apologies to the gentleman who got duped by the BD-R thing. This is a very small movie and I'm not even sure there would be enough interest to get it professionally pressed on Blu-ray. But! I'm hearing from the distributor that these are selling quickly. If you want one I'd order sooner than later!
