I just watched the last 20 minutes of this on TV last night if you can believe it. I still think the song For Your Eyes Only is underrated.

I think its a little inconsistent with stuff like the sky section being a bit bland but the good stuff is very fun and Topol arguably steals the show from Moore.

ITV4 likes to pretend its still 1987, probably still have this in the ad breaks.

Same, but I was 12 during summer of '82. watched this and Stripes when I wasn't watching MTV. Having said that this is my favorite Bond, has all the elements - great theme song, high stakes card game, exotic locales, well-paced action sequences, the Identigraph, and TOPOL...the guy from Flash Gordon!

Fun Fact, Jeremy Bulloch who played Boba Fett in ESB and ROTJ has a small part as Qs assistant.

I was lucky the channel that showed For Your Eyes Only was in OAR, I hate movies that are formatted to fit your screen.
