Default Solarrdadd's updated HT Gallery is here!

Howdy everyone out there in Blu-Ray.com land, told ya it was coming and well, here it is. I've finally gotten around to updating my gallery. I've included nice new pic's of my new gear. I would so love if everyone would please take a moment to check it out, rate (or re-rate if that's the case) it and please leave comments; both good and bad.

I will start out by saying that no matter how much you might biOtch about it, that wallpaper is staying!

Please enjoy and I look forward to your feed back.

Please & Thank You!

If only you could see me right now..... I am standing up and applauding your efforts solardadd....those pics are great. You have all the gear someone would ever need, and it all just came together so well. You are also an inspiration to get my cable management in order as well. I feel mine looks like the way yours used to......

Get on it Johnnypie! lol. Solarddad your previous wire mess is what mine use to look like hidden behind my dresser in my bedroom. My recent wire management took 6-7 hours...how long did yours take?

Anytime. I spent 10+ hours on my bedroom wiring alone. I just re-did the bedroom arrangement so I've got to do it all over again once things are in place. If only I could leave things alone.

yeah hammie, it's great so far. i picked up the SACD for John Mayer, "Heavier Things" and the first track, "Clarity" is a bass beast! wow that thing rocks it's made with 5.1 or stereo and of course DSD so i've tried it everywhich way on the 5507 and it's just an incredible disc. it's another of those hard to find SACD's as the really good ones are. i had to buy it off of ebay cause no one has it. got it at a great price and i'm really happy with the disc and the 5507. i have no doubt for me and my gear, i made the right choice! I am really liking those Anthems you put up in your new thread. i'm gonna keep my eyes on that thread until years end when it all comes to fruition!

A year ago I had a hk avr and onkyo htib with a samsung 46'' lcd in my bedroom and I thought that was good. I've only changed the bedroom 4-5 times now. Then I created the living room setup which has gone thru about 3 major changes. I had maybe 100 posts until August 2009 in my ht thread....look at how things changed. Needless to say I can't stop.

Diddy has gone soft. I think he is all married now with 3 kids or something. When is the last time bad boy records released a record? He broke up Danity Kane/mtv show and I haven't heard a release from bad boy records since. Then again why bust your *ss off when you have all that money to buy whatever he wants the rest of his life. Music business is a tough go these days with everyone on the internet and things way more easily available (some by obviously not legal means).

I'm counting down the days myself.

I hope some people bring some good discussions to that thread, but they are so expensive that I'm not sure how many actually have them let alone listened to one.

I had the privilege of hearing a Anthem Statement D2v, P5, and Paradigm Reference Signatures at a friends store. WOW!!! If I had not already committed to my B&W's, that would have been a setup I could see in my house.

Congratulations on the upgrade Solarrdadd. Love the Onkyo. You and Crazy are making me feel bad about my lack of cable management. I must put it high on my priority list this year.

thanks rpatt. i always planned on doing it but knew that i wasn't finished with my system and kept changing things around, trying new cables and just got tired of trying to re-secure those cables. it was a pain and so i just left it like you see it was before. but after my mind was made up on the 5507, i knew that i had to start planning on cable types and such as well as how to best "manage" every cable. i did all that thinking ahead of time and was ready once i got the unit. i really don't plan on changing out my gear for quite a while and have it so that if i did it would'nt be a major piece of equipment that would change the face of the existing cabling. it would be either the HDTV or say the blu-ray player or something like that. the head end gear, i.e. amps, pre-amp would stay for what i hope is going to be many a year.

again, thanks for your comments. keep in touch buddy and let us know when/if you make those changes to your HT.
