Yes, and it continues to reset the black levels every 150 hours. They are designed to left on once attached. Did you send audiodane an email?

Greetings everyone,

Thanks bguzman for your recommendation of the PMCv2. I am thrilled that you are enjoying the results so much, and that you're sharing here on blu-ray.com. (I've been here off and on in the past, but mostly a lurker.)

For everyone else, bguzman also setup a new thread to discuss the panasonic black level stuff, which may be a better forum than his HT thread to discuss things.. I'll try to check in to the forum regularly to answer questions on that thread..

The Panasonic Black Level thread can be found here:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=285413

thanks again bguzman!

cheers,
..dane

Hello all,
A quick note to let you all know that I am in no way affiliated with this product or Dane. Just a very satisfied customer that thought other fine members of this forum could benefit from this easy to install piece of equipment that really improved the black levels on my Panasonic plasma.

Hello all,
Hope you are all doing well. I have recently entered the world of idler drive turntables. I picked up a Dual 1219 from Goodwill. It came in the original box with many accessories.

These old 1970's Dual decks are exceedingly complicated. It took me awhile to figure out how it was supposed to work and required more than a bit of internet research. Some disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication along with a few new parts and she sounds very nice. It did not come with a plinth so I fashioned one out of some scrap wood.

It has a very pleasing sound, detailed and a rich low end.

Same ol' same ol' DR,

It's nice to see you back on the forums. Both of my parents have passed. It took me awhile to realize that they never really are gone. From time to time when the situation warrants they pop back in to my mind and give me advice. You know things that they say to us as we are growing up that at the time get dismissed but as we mature help us to do the right things. Memories that make us laugh or recall good times our families had. Sorry is digress, have a great one DR.

I am enjoying the heck out of it! The tones emminating from this fine piece of German engineering are fantastic. The vintage cart and stylus that came with the TT are apparently in the same like new condition. I have an extra adapter, pesky Dual proprietary cart holder, on the way and will be trying out some of the other carts in my inventory.
