It takes balls. I could easily just bow to you lot and pretend I donít feel that way.

"Disappearing from the public conscious" is not the same thing as a movie disappearing from the market. It is not the same thing as movies disappearing entirely, either. In other words, it does not mean what you want it to mean.

There have always been movie fans that are oblivious to the classics of yesteryear. Those classics still remain and are easily obtained by those with an interest in them. Some of our members have publicly stated that they will not watch anything made before they were born! Others refuse to watch anything in black & white and some won't watch a movie with subtitles yet all of these types of movies remain for those that are not so narrow minded.

It doesn't "take balls" to be unapolgetically obstinate while also manifesting symptoms of some kind of anxiety disorder. Being wrong repeatedly is not a virtue. If that were the case, someone else here would have the "biggest balls of them all" if I may channel AC/DC here.

No one cares if you to "bow" to them because I suspect that no one values your opinion enough, on these subjects, to want your approval in the first place.

What is interesting is year after year at some multiplex they have a classic film festival and yet there is all this concern that everyone is going to forget that it exists. It is just silly and unfounded. Anyway, I need to unwind before work. So Iíll leave everyone to it.

I predict that you are going to have a sex change operation. I can not be wrong because it has not happened yet.

A prediction is not valid because it has not happened yet; it is valid only if it has a basis in objective fact with a stated probability of happening and if it contains a time frame for it to occur. Open ended predictions with no supporting evidence are worthless. You cling to this logical fallacy every time that you run out of defenses for your preposterous predictions.

It will be valid when it happens. Same as any other prediction.

But, how the heck did you find out about my sex change?

Two things that can be cemented.

Brad Pitt is curious if movies will survive.

Brad Pitt thinks the younger generation prefer their content in quick bursts and questions if they will continue to sit for 2 hours for a movie.

Those concerns are the same concerns I have expressed on several occasions. That cannot be disputed.

Jennifer tweeted about it. Said you were like a sister to her now.

You really need to take a course in logic. A prediction does not have merit simply because it has not happened yet. If so, then all predictions are "correct" because only the ending of time can prove them to be wrong.

It is as futile as trying to prove the non-existence of something to a zealot. By your logic everything imagined is real because in order to prove it isn't you would have to take a complete inventory of every thing in existence in the entire multi-verse. Only then could it be definitely ruled out as not existing. As Spock would say, that is illogical.

Agreed, but I believe they will prove to have merit. How is that?

For those that believe streaming (pay TV) has taken over (here):

Quote:
Hastings added that as SVOD and ad-supported streaming proliferate worldwide, traditional pay-TV still dominates consumer viewing habits.

ďWe win only about 5% of television viewing hours, so weíre nowhere near a concentration risk [to pay-TV],Ē he said.

Facts are optional around here!

Beliefs matter, facts don't count unless they support them.

You can believe anything that you choose; someone else here is notorious for doing the same. You're in great company with that one!
