yeah I prefer Gasol as well. Howard and Jordan cancel each other out in terms of what they bring

I obviously read "Nunn" but thought it was "Dunn". I guess I figured Nunn was too good of a player for the Lakers to just snatch up like that?

9 interesting trade scenarios for Ben Simmons.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba...?ocid=msedgntp

I do not think Simmons will get traded until the All-Star weekend, imo. As far as which team, I have no idea.

I’d look into signing with Barthelona again, if I were him.

I liked Marc... he is a great passer, and I truly thought Vogel didn't utilize him properly.

Edwards took off after the All-Star break last season with averages of 23.8 points on 45.4% shooting, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks. Finch said the growth spurt may help the Wolves "feel more comfortable using Edwards as an undersized power forward in certain lineups." They're also optimistic that it will help Edwards' rebounding (his 7.9% total rebound rate was outside the top-100 among qualifying players last season). No matter how you slice it, a taller version of Edwards is a good thing for fantasy purposes.

Wolves are also the one team who are consistently brought up in Ben Simmons trade talk

I hate Ben Simmons.

Quote:
This report is unsurprising considering KAT is the face of the franchise, and Edwards, the #1 pick in the 2020 draft, is coming off a very impressive rookie campaign. Back in May, Towns stated his desire to stay in Minnesota and "have a career like Kobe...with one team." Krawczynski also notes that Minnesota would "really would rather not trade D’Angelo Russell."

Rockets, John Wall agree to hold him out of games, seek trade, but the Rockets also don't want to lose any first round picks. The only way to do so is likely by taking back bad or long term deals.

Wall is expected to attend Rockets training camp and "remain present" around the team but won't suit up for games. Charania reports both the team and the player came to an agreement after "Houston officials explained to Wall the direction of the franchise and that the team wants to protect the veteran guardís health" and that the organization "does not want to jeopardize Wallís fitness." Shams adds there are no buyout plans for the two years and nearly $92 million remaining on Wallís contract. The only other veteran point guard on the Rockets roster is D.J. Augustin, whom Houston acquired at last March's trade deadline. Armoni Brooks also logged plenty of playing time at PG as a rookie last season. We'll see if Houston adds additional playmakers before the start of training camp.

Probably wait till midseason and then they'll buy him out. Besides Clippers, where can he go?

Gonna be a tough buyout, I think he has like 2 yrs $90m, that second year is a player option, hard to see him turn that $47m down though

Nuggets sign Aaron Gordon to 4 yr $92m extension

League not requiring players to be vaccinated
