I finally snatched one of the Ceres chipboard boxes to house my DVD sets. These things are so dang rare (there are two versions, a pink and a blue, and they were only available as mail in promotional items). One thing I wasn't aware of was that it included two plastic slips for the DVD cases, which gives the artwork an extra level of class.

I bought another one.

This is Momotaro Sacred Sailors from Anime Limited on Blu-ray & DVD combo pack. Been meaning to pick this one up but I decided to get it now from HMV for £22.99. The set has some minor damage but I'm not that fussed about it. It's got a lengthy 120+ page booklet about the film which is neat. The reason why I have been buying anime from HMV is because PureHMV owners get double points on Blu-ray (and also on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Vinyl).

I also picked up some more video games for those who are interested:

[Show spoiler]

Earlier this month I acquired .hack//G.U. Last Recode and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and yesterday I received Zero Escape: The Nonary Games and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma for PlayStation 4. You may have noticed that these are the North American versions. Both games have been released in Europe physically however Aksys Games barely made them available so the stock levels are ridiculously low and pretty expensive to get, so I decided to acquire the US versions that were available on Amazon UK for £24.98 each.

For those who don't know, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is considered to be one of the best visual novels ever released (with Zero Time Dilemma being pretty mixed in reception) and I can't wait to finally check them out.

Next we have Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner M∀RS on PlayStation 4. I liked this game so I was very surprised that Konami decided to release a physical version for the re-remaster. This version was developed by Cygames and has been completely revamped compared to the HD Collection which had issues (thanks to High Voltage Software). The M∀RS version offers 4K resolution, 60 frames per second and also optional VR support. My copy does include the slipcover and it's SRP £24.99 it seems.

And lastly we have Afro Samurai and Lollipop Chainsaw on PlayStation 3. Both were planned to be acquired last week but I wanted to play it safe and have my ID just in case. They didn't ask for it in the end but better to play it safe than nothing. These two games have been on my list of games to pickup so there is only a couple left now for the console.

That brings the total to 96 PlayStation 3 games and 51 PlayStation 4 games in the collection.

Oh, and I also have two Funimation limited edition sets on order which should arrive sometime at the end of the month. Easy clues: One's got a girl who hates normies, and the other is a gal.

Man, the original ZOE HD Collection was such a tragedy, until Hexadrive did god's work with the ZOE2 patch for PS3. That patch was insane.

They didn’t fix ZOE1, I think. So the PS2 version still has a better frame rate.

Straggler Crusher Joe from RS and grabbed Nyaruko cuz it's going out of print (though I guess I'll never get season 2) and I always neglect my figures so I threw in my most recent ones as a free service

Yeah, they didn't fix it. Regardless of the performance, I wouldn't touch ZOE1 with a ten foot pole

Have the 2 sets with the plastic slip covers but the case was something I passed on-didn't need it.

Meant to post this sooner, but have been busy with Dragon Quest 11.

Just realized my picture doesn't include coffee mug. Too lazy to take another picture. Also came with a lithograph, but I don't want to unroll it when I don't have a frame for it.

Bonus pic: Anime related Vita games acquired recently.

Received this today. It doesn't include the full new pachislot animation like I hoped, just a promo for the machine, but it does include numerous clips and two full sequences
[Show spoiler](the proposal and the final farewell to Soichiro at his grave)
. Oh well, like I said in the other thread, at least I think the cover art is nice.

I just wound up placing it in next to the manga:

Special shout out to Amazon.uk for showing the slipcase release on the site, then sending me this... Also revenge buy on un-molested Shin Godzilla.

Revenge buy for Eureka Seven GNSTYL since Bandai can't count to 6, and High Evolution 1.

Purchased this from a friend in the States that got it signed by Steve Blum (VA for Spike) in person while at Connecticon.
Price was right ($30) so not overly pricey and I like the shadow effect style to the art.
Approx 8"x10".
