It's a Cohen Brothers movie so I'll make a blind buy on this one for sure. Now, if we could just get Fargo and O' Brother Where Art Thou?

If you like any Big Lebowski, Fargo, or any other dark comedies by the Cohen brothers, you are going to LOVE this movie. I would rather watch this than No Country For Old Men any day. Lebowski is a better film though, so don't get your hopes that high.

Along with The Dark Knight and Blade Runner, this Blu-ray is a favorite pickup of 2008.... and that's out of about 120 new Blu's I've bought this year.

Today is the 10th Anniversary of the U.S. release of this film. I can see this not being everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a fun & entertaining film. On a side note, Sam Raimi's, A Simple Plan is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary today (Toronto International Film Festival premiere), & it deserves a proper HD release. Gonna try & squeeze at least half of it in later tonight & finish it up tomorrow.

I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me.

I agree about A Simple Plan. I think that's a Paramount title, so I have very little hope of seeing it being released on blu-ray.

The blu-ray was released in Germany. It isn't stunning, but it's serviceable.

one of my favorite films of the century, everything about it is brilliant. pitt's finest hour. the scenes with palmer and cia boss are god-tier. malkovich killed it as well. burn after reading is a masterpiece, plain and simple.
