Default Disco Song Help please please!!!!

Ok guys me and a handful of people have been trying to figure out who sings this song now for about 4 years. At first we worked on it feverishly then slowed down and now i am back at it again. It is disco song in the Documentary from IFC The American Nightmare. It plays in the background when George Romero Speaks and says "Disco we where just listening to the bee gees man" it is exactly at 39mts and 50sec in to the dvd. Some of the lyrics we could gather from what we can hear are "You could be dancing, swinging on the floor, moving to the beat of the band, you could be dancing, moving with the band, holding the world in your hand, and if your going to do whatever you want to you could be dancing". And it is not the bee gees! It is a female singer. I would be indebt to who ever can figure this out. we have looked all over the internet I figured the soundtrack would have come out by now. Somone else had also aske the question online, but I cant remember what site it was. Good Luck!!!!

Best bet may be to e-mail IFC on that one.
I found the clip on you tube and ran it through Shazam, but no matches. Looks like a clip from an old documentary, so it may be something made just for that.
Good Luck though!

Did you ever find that song? I've just heard it in a tv program and yours is the ONLY mention of those lyrics in google.

What TV show did you hear it in. Post the episode title as well and maybe we can help.

It was a Polish program about overweight future brides looking for help with choosing a dress. I'd be very much surprised if that helped. Nevertheless they did write in the credits that music tracks were taken from the universal production music library. I've looked there for awhile, listening to stuff but had no luck.
