buck rogers blu-ray

I found a listing for buck rogers the complete series on Blu-ray for $80 preorder at best buy.It says to be released on 08/26/16.Anybody know any thing about this.I read it was going to be released over seas but not in the U.S.THANKS.

This was originally supposed to be Region B locked, but several of the folks who have already received it confirm it's region free for the Episodes, but SD/PAL for most of the extras including a couple special episodes which were never converted to HD.

The features appear to be true HD as opposed to the older German releases which were SD episodes placed on a Bluray disc -- and not very good even for SD.

What does that mean? What is a "text-less element"??? I've never heard that term before...

If there are moments of the show that have text on them, like a location card saying "New Chicago" in the corner of the screen, there was a need for that footage to exist without the English text so that it could be written in, say, French instead ("Le Nouvelle Chicago" or whatever). They've included those "text-less" moments as a bonus.
