Saw the price this morning too. I suspect once I've got all the Universal Abbott and Costello BDs they'll release them as a set for less, but it's easy to encourage them to keep putting 'em out on BD at this price.

$14.99 is list price, so around $10 is standard retailer pricing.

Sure, traditionally speaking... Not sure how true that is today. And it most certainly will be less true tomorrow. Of course the economies of scale also tend to vary radically between producers and even individual titles from the same producer.

I'm thinking Universal is planning an A&C set too. Recently, Kino acquired 100 catalogue titles from Universal and requested a few Bud & Lou's but were denied. I picked up Meet Frankenstein a while ago and imported Meet The Mummy from the UK last summer because the US release hadn't been announced yet. I'll hold off on Meet The Invisible Man, even though I really do want to see it in HD. That box set must be around the corner!

Apparently this must be a popular blu ray title at this price. It was only released on Tuesday, and it's already sold out at the local Bullmoose location near me!

I would love to see a master release, but the new monster's set has a few of the releases I want.
