You don’t need to gift it to upgrade Training Day and get Little Things, but they can. I’ve got them both in HD and I can buy it normally.

I say this every time it goes on sale (which is a lot), but Kingdom of Heaven $4.99 is amazing. Make sure it has the director's cut (which I think they all do at this point, but idk). That's the better version and that alone is worth $5.

If you buy universal titles on iTunes, make sure you sign up for the Universal Rewards program. Each month they have free titles (catalog iTunes purchases or digital code redemptions on there get you 500 points, new releases 1000) and this month they have the HD version from Movies Anywhere (it’ll stay HD, but will port) of Army of Darkness. They’ve had 4k codes offered for some films in the past but it’s hit or miss.

Director’s cut is $14.99 on iTunes. However, the DC is $4.99 on Vudu and it’s MA so it would transfer to iTunes as long as accounts are linked to MA.

Can’t vouch for either title. Haven’t seen Marrying Man since it was first released and have never seen Immortal Beloved. I may blind buy Immortal.

I'm pretty sure the iTunes $4.99 Kingdom of Heaven includes all three version, but the iTunes default is the theatrical version that also includes the two versions - the Director's Cut and Roadhouse Cut - in iTunes Extra. I just checked via Apple TV app.

But the standalone version, you are correct, is on VUDU which transfers to MA.

Immortal Beloved is pretty good. At the time, I think it maybe suffered a bit in comparison to Amadeus -- there's a framing device that feels conventional and safe, and to be fair, the movie itself is conventional and safe -- but you can't really go wrong with Oldman as Ludwig Van and that score. The presentation of the 9th Symphony premiere is also pretty great. Won't spoil it.

Knowing how toxic things ended up in real life for Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger as a couple, I personally have no desire to watch the movie where they met.

Immortal Beloved, however, sounds intriguing. It takes place after Beethoven's death though?

Update: Never mind. Oldman plays Beethoven in flashbacks.
