Target The Funhouse (Scream Factory) - $10.26, Stage Fright (Blue Underground) - $12.16

This may be a highly YMMV situation, but I found these in the Seekonk, MA store yesterday:

Sorry about the poorly compressed pic. These are both labeled as an "Online Item" and were found on an endcap. Out of the five copies of Stage Fright, four were floaters with the hubs apparently broken. There were probably about eight copies of The Funhouse, all with slipcovers and in respectable condition. I'm not sure if these will be found in other stores - I haven't had a chance to check any others yet myself. Good luck. I hope someone else is able to find these.

Wow, nice finds!

From what I understand, items labeled as 'online' or 'as is' are online returns that the store doesn't have a place for and is thus trying to get rid of quickly. So, it's unlikely that the same titles will be found at other Targets.

Still, I don't quite understand why stuff like this tends to show up in batches (5 of this, 15 of that). 2 of these BDs would be enough to qualify for free shipping. Why order 8?

Padding it seems, since they busted 4 out of 5 on Stage Fright.

No way those are stocked in-store, 99.9999% they were online returns. They are even marked "online item".

In short. This isn't just "lucky", it's almost certainly a one time thing.

I came across and end-cap full of "online returns" once, but nothing as cool as this (although on the bright side they were all $1-$3, I suspected in my case it was just a bunch of stuff they found in the back-room and they just marked them as online returns).

No idea, the one time I saw this at a Target there were like 5 or 6 copies of several different movies (maybe 50 blu-rays total). They were all "online returns". However it was only at that one store and I never saw it happen again (at least not to that extent).

Very nice. I had one of these hits once. Found Godzilla v Megalon at my Target for $3 with the "online item" label. They are ordered items that people returned to the store. They mark them down and get rid of them at the store.

Awesome find. Congrats

Those prices have to be the best i have seen for Scream Factory and Blue Underground releases in a long time if ever then.
