We're still figuring out the extras (it's very tough for this one) but at least it looks pretty spectacular. The owner found the camera negative, which was completely uncut and includes the previously tape sourced bits. We've also got the complete Italian track (in addition to the English dub) for the first time.
I'm in like Flynn.

Thanks for the announcement!

There's potentially quite a few horror titles in the MGM vaults without a DVD release. I say potentially, as it's difficult to know if they still have the rights to them, or if legal issues are holding them up. I've seen it said that these are with MGM, though it's likely not true in every instance:

[Show spoiler]South of Hell Mountain (1971)
Night Drive (1977)
Tintorera (1977)
Terror on Tour (1980)
Home Sweet Home (1981)
Blood Link (1982)
The Alchemist (1983)
Radioactive Dreams (1985)
In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro (1986)
The Supernaturals (1986)
The Tomb (1986)
Transmutations (Underworld) (1986)
Cassandra (1987)
Open House (1987)
The Rejuvenator (1988)
The Cellar (1989)
Dark Tower (1989)
Demons 6 (1989)
House of Usher (1989)
Pale Blood (1990)
Steel and Lace (1990)
Blood Games (1991)

Of course, we don't yet know the full extent of Walt's Scorpion deal, and it appears Arrow may have made a new(ish) deal with them (it's thought the forthcoming White Fire might be an MGM title), so that's another consideration.
It may not be possible, but the titles in bold I'd especially like to see get the VS treatment.

Glad to see it's VS releasing the giallo announced recently in this thread. Doesn't matter if there aren't many extras, as the I'm sure the transfer will look great.

Looks like you were right about that one after all. What do you think of the movie? I never saw it.

Having said that, as a Giallo completest, I will absolutely be buying it.
I agree. It's not one of the genre's best, but it checks all the boxes, so it's a must buy.

I will buy French Sex Murders. The decapitation / eye gouging scene is worth it alone.

Another giallo you should try is Death Carries a Cane. As for rare Spanish horror, maybe there's a negative for 1981's Bloody Sex?

ELVES is one of my favorite discoveries from the past five years or so. Ever since it’s become a holiday staple. It’s genuinely terrible with awful acting and some of the weakest creature effects. Apparently the “elves” were supposed to have all sorts of articulation but the animatronics barely worked...

Despite all of its shortcomings, ELVES is a blast. The plot is wild, somehow managing to tie elves in with nazis, and some of the dialogue is hysterical. The performance from the wicked mother is worthy of cult status alone. Thankfully, ELVES manages to check off several “trash cinema” boxes that B grade cinema fans will enjoy. Not to oversell it or anything.
