I never thought, for a minute, folks would be getting all 4 slips...regardless of how you interpret the wording of the listing. Sure it would've been great, but doesn't make any sense.

Haha, I feel your pain. Rarely, if ever, do my Target orders ship before street date, so I just go to the store, buy a minty copy, then cancel my order.

The smart thing to do would've been to take a screenshot of the product page while it still promised four slipcovers.

By the way, look at what it actually says: "for pick up in store orders"

That means that online preorders could still come with four slipcovers. They're just no longer accepting preorders, obviously.

Surprised Target doesn't have an exclusive up for Hobbit: The Battle Of Five Armies. Last time it was Tauriel & Legolas on their own special cover for Hobbit Desolation Of Smaug, maybe they will be doing multiple slips this time around.

I agree that it looks G1 size, though I haven't seen BDs in DVD keepcases in a while. Even Disney stopped doing it, lol.
