Target always over produces the Bonus Discs for the Lionsgate/Summit titles, wait a couple of weeks (Like I am) and it will show up on ebay for like $5 for the bonus disc. (Once that happens I will toss the DVD on the BestBuy Steelbook and add the Interview disc from the paperback novel that is $6.99 at Target, and I will have the Ultimate 3 Disc Steelbook!!)

The interview disc is packaged with the hardcover book, not the paperback.

Target has once again dropped the ball with their "exclusives". Last week it was the WOOD PACKAGING debacle. This week it's the G1 sized exclusive. Whoever is doing their marketing seriously needs to be shot in the face. They need to hire someone who actually knows what the consumer wants.

While I agree to some extent, I think someone getting shot in the face for it is a bit much. Maybe just somewhere non-life threatening like an arm or a leg would suffice.

Yes, because Target makes these. Its not like the actual studio/distributor does not solicit Target with an exclusive offering.

Was just in my local target earlier today and was surprised to see 6 digibook copies of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty just sitting on the shelves in two different places.

Edit: I guess its not that surprising as I just checked and you can still get them at target.com

They had TONS of copies upon release and I think they didnt sell that well to begin with, might vary per store but knowing Target.com I doubt they are the Digibooks still.

This happens from time to time when Target uses the same inventory number for both the regular and Exclusive versions.

Exactly, the "target exclusives" like Steelbooks, metalpaks and digibooks share the same DPCI, UPC number as the regular version its really annoying.

Right now, Target.com is the only place that has the Diamond Luxe version of Gone With the Wind. It could become available at other places at a later time.
