"Disappearing from the public conscious" is not the same thing as a movie disappearing from the market. It is not the same thing as movies disappearing entirely, either. In other words, it does not mean what you want it to mean.

There have always been movie fans that are oblivious to the classics of yesteryear. Those classics still remain and are easily obtained by those with an interest in them. Some of our members have publicly stated that they will not watch anything made before they were born! Others refuse to watch anything in black & white and some won't watch a movie with subtitles yet all of these types of movies remain for those that are not so narrow minded.

What is interesting is year after year at some multiplex they have a classic film festival and yet there is all this concern that everyone is going to forget that it exists. It is just silly and unfounded. Anyway, I need to unwind before work. So I’ll leave everyone to it.

Two things that can be cemented.

Brad Pitt is curious if movies will survive.

Brad Pitt thinks the younger generation prefer their content in quick bursts and questions if they will continue to sit for 2 hours for a movie.

Those concerns are the same concerns I have expressed on several occasions. That cannot be disputed.

You really need to take a course in logic. A prediction does not have merit simply because it has not happened yet. If so, then all predictions are "correct" because only the ending of time can prove them to be wrong.

It is as futile as trying to prove the non-existence of something to a zealot. By your logic everything imagined is real because in order to prove it isn't you would have to take a complete inventory of every thing in existence in the entire multi-verse. Only then could it be definitely ruled out as not existing. As Spock would say, that is illogical.
