The LE pricing is a little too rich for my wallet. I have no setup for UHD and an additional 30 quid seems excessive for the booklet and some (not very exciting) art cards. I'll be sad to miss out on the essays, but that's how it rolls.

I am not 4K, yet, but still went ahead with the Limited Edition.

I wanted the sturdy box, the booklet, the cards, etc. , and it includes a BD copy of everything (I am Region Free BD ), and I'll have a 4K for when I do go 4K, LOL. I got it from DiabolikDVD, the ever-reliable, best e-tailer for movies on the internet!

Love Martin. I still have the DVD. So, I will probably have to get the LE.

These boutique labels have really got me by the balls. $50 for the movie? Ehhhh. $50 for the movie, a book, a CD and a hard slipcover? Absolutely, ordered right away.

My only solace is that they will run out of movies I give a shit about sooner or later and I can finally be free.

Any retailer that carries this with a working discount code? 40 GBP is really steep for this. Are boutique labels aware that rates have gone up and they stopped doing QE? Money is harder to come by nowadays.

There are cheaper options without the book, CD and tat.

To Sweden the best option is around 4 disc for best shipping/disc ratio from diabolik.

No one needs those art cards. No one.

Oh yeah, terrific score too, very poignant, like the movie itself. If they did a BD only LE for 30 quid, I'd pick that up in a jiffy.

At least they're sort of art, not "scenes from the film"

And those Dawn of the Dead ones were pretty good.

Okay, let's be real about "art cards" in general. They're post cards. That's it.

I’ve owned maybe half a dozen home video releases of films over the years that came with limited edition post cards/art cards, and they were always either stills from the film, repros of lobby cards, or other promotional material. Not once did I ever think to myself, “I really wish these had been cheesy fan art postcards created this year by someone with no direct connection to the film instead—what a rip-off!”

True they are more 'arty' however we don't need one of Tom without his signature goatie/moustache.... Just doesn't work. Bit like Burt Reynolds without his...never worked for me

Think I'll go with the standard version. While I like the movie I don't have the same level of love as I do for Dawn, which I had no problem splashing out the funds for the Ltd Edition 4k, tat included,

Just ordered the non-tat edition via Zavvi. I'm certain I'll regret it, but neither amazon UK nor Second Sight left me with much of a choice...
I can only hope, the shipment just slips through German customs.
