Lol, one guy on reddit posted an email from Rightstuf warning him they were doing partial shipments, since they were about to charge him for $4k.

We'll have a month or so of partial shipments until the birthday sale in late June. Then who knows how long that will back them up for.

I have ten open orders, one of which has everything in stock. No shipping notice yet, but if they decide to do a partial order I'm probably out $400.

They're slowly catching up though. My oldest open order is from July 2021.

Thankfully most of my stuff is on time. I couldn't imagine getting hit with a $4K charge lol.

$4k geez. I’d hope that was not all anime. I know some people still do pre-order figures from them and they can add up.

Guessing it was mostly all manga. The email he posted said 453 items for $4,172.10.

I’m probably gonna get hit for about $41 probably in manga and book charges. Maybe more if some other things come in by the time they reach me in the queue. I’m just excited for partials coming back.

Hmm ran across a bug on their site. When you add items the site charges you shipping even if you have the free shipping selected. I had to swap addresses back and forth to get it to trigger the free shipping.

It's all in stock but Girl's High but usually they would hold a copy for those that preordered it. It as even more odd because it was in stock but my order was waiting for Uzumaki and that came in stock but still my order still didn't move along.

I have an order being held up by the Girls High BD too; I suspect RS never got any copies at all.

Your order doesn't ship because Girl's High was never in stock.
That's quite common for Media Blasters & Kitty Media:
e.g. "Alive", scheduled for April 19, but Media Blasters started shipping stock to retailers on May 31 - meaning most retailers got their stock around one month after the official street date.

So whilest the scheduled date for Girl's High passed, its most likely still in production and will take a few weeks to actually ship to any customer.
"Out of stock" is a common error shown at RS, when stock didn't arrive at all after the scheduled release date.

Rightstuf is putting Birthday Sale ad inserts in orders and there is a 10% off a order code on the back. I believe I remember getting one in the mail by itself the week before the sale started last year to.

I'm so glad you can cancel orders easier now. I placed a all-preorder order yesterday morning totaling over $100, and every item would have qualified for a coupon if I had one. I just happened to get a package from them yesterday afternoon and found the postcard with the code. Noice.

Not planning to go big with the Bday sale this year, but I said that last year and still spent over $700. But I feel pretty caught up on items I want to buy, there's mainly just manga in my save for later. It's just going to be tough to reach that free shipping threshold if they're on sale during separate weeks.
