Yeah, they shouldn't have any problem getting a mod to allow them to take over the OP as long as the one user taking over has been a member longer than Scottishguy was. The only reason I mention this is that a mod asked me if I wanted to take over the Blue Underground OP and there was trouble doing it because I was a member since August 2016 and the OP was a member since Jan 08 and I never heard back from them on it.

Are they able to do that? I Pm'd them, but they haven't answered.

Unfortunately, L'Enfer (1994), La Cérémonie (1995) and Rien ne va plus (1997) have a yellow hue, typical of Eclair lab colour grading.

Merci pour le chocolat (2000) and La Fleur du mal (2003), both restored by Hiventy, have more natural colours.

Literally the name at the top of my list when I mentioned “some posters around here with clear mental stability issues”, but I was trying to be polite, LOL. There are two or three others I legitimately believe may be psychologically unhinged.

Maybe a new site he was peddling? He went rather too far at AVF and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did...

Ahh, I wasn't aware. I'm only really around this site and that's it.

The other place, ahem, the place that thinks we're all peasants.

Oh yeah, there's some vitriol aimed at this site but for film, blu's and all other media this place is the most informative.

You can't miss the thread over there if you look for it. He had issues with the moderators on here, that is the easiest explanation.

If FIM did Deep Red UHD from Arrow, how come the opening scene has ghosting on the shadow and unstable colour in the background? I thought it was my imagination but at least one other person on the 4K thread concurs. Anyone else notice the issue?

Dealing with colored flickering/breathing happens during film restoration. It doesn't have anything to do with compression or authoring.
