I have to admit i've been neglecting my SVS subs Since i've got my new speakers i've been doing 2 channel pure direct no subs enjoying some 2 ch bliss . But decided to blow the dust out of my SVS ports and threw in WOTW Yes now I remembered why I love SVS so much and have rekindled the love affair

hey guys, a guy pretty local to me has a SVS PB12-PLUS for sale. he is asking $700 for it. i may be able to get it a bit cheaper, not sure yet. whats your opinions. should i go for it and sell my nsd or keep my nsd. would i notice a huge difference between the 2? thanks my fellow SVS nuts

I don't think there will be that much of a noticeable difference but I do think that with BOTH of them, you will notice a difference.

How about keeping both for a little while and see if they integrate okay? If not sell your NSD.

Great suggestion Eric and if I may add I would highly reccomend the Plus over the NSD I have owned both . Although the NSD is a great sub, between the two....well

thanks guys for your input, so i would certianly think based on specs and price that the pb12 plus must be a better sub. i did some reading and it looks like it goes down to 16 hz?

he said he bought it 10 months ago, is the warranty transferable?

this thing is a beast huh? 110lbs check out my gallery where my NSD is now, there is more than enough room for that beast to go there. It has a bigger footprint, but i have the room in that corner.

I emailed him to ask a few questions, maybe offer him $600 and see if he goes for it. it will be about 100 mile ride (2 hours) for me to get it, but i would thinkg certainly worth it

so iam thinking one PB12 plus would work over my NSD?? i know the NSD is no slouch, but the PB12 plus has to be a better sub...

Is it the pb12.5 plus ? The Latest if not its still a performer and yes the plus is a great performer and digs deep and hits hard and blends beautifully with its big brother my pb13 so that says a lot . Again as you know the NSD is no slouch but you will for sure notice a difference in accuracy and how hard it hits also I do beleive the warranty is transferable but check with SVS and that seems like a great price almost to good to be true . What finish is it ?

it states in the ad its piano black finish.

so should i try and go for it? what do you think i can get for my NSD right now being a few months old? i know the wife wont go for me keeping both with christmas coming.

I'd get it and as far as price on the nsd I dont know youd have to see if you can find any for sale and use there price as a guidline . BTW I beleive those are the specs for the new one !!! Sweet !!!

check out the pics i added, would it be the newer looking one with 3 ports on bottom? ya he said its 10 months old, so it should be the new one.

It should be the one with 3 ports on the bottom , heres mine it should look just like the one on the right
