Great flick. One of the few I actually applaud standing up.

I was going to write about this one after reading a few pages and def agree. It's the only movie I ever cried watching. Jackie Gleason gives the performance of a lifetime.

Default Oscar

One of my fave underrateds is Oscar starring Sylvester Stallone and Marisa Tomei.

It's a comedy and muscley action-star Sly was vilified for it, but it's great. It takes place in the Roaring '20s: Stallone's a mobster that keeps an eagle eye on his 18-year-old daughter, Tomei, who just wants to have fun. It's a well-written farce with mistaken identities and switched bags of jewels and money and there are times where I just burst out laughing. So unappreciated.

Romeo must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave

Some average action films but they star Jet Li and other minorities so that's always cool

Not many people watched Duncan Jones "Moon". Source Code was good too.

Songs From The Second Floor

A Swedish film directed by Roy Andersson. It's one of those films you still find yourself thinking about days later. Really good film in my opinion & beautifully shot, wish it was available on Blu-ray.

Picked this title by chance for streaming, found it quite fresh and fun. The old thing is that it is a story told through the eyes of four different characters like 11:14. It is crazier and funnier though, certainly better than most of the flicks out there.

Never regretted it. Brilliant movie. I seen it was on Quikflix the other day, so I'm gonna watch it again soon and probably appreciate it even more now that I'm older.

Don't know how unknown though. We'd never heard of it, but one scene is parodied in a Simpsons episode, if that means anything... So is Requiem for a Dream at one point...

I really liked the movie Super, which may or may not be known by many. It was written and directed by James Gunn who also wrote/directed Slither, one of my all time favorite movies.

Max Manus: Man of War 2008(true story)

Headhunters 2011

Anthony Zimmer 2005 this is the original and better version of 2010s "The Tourist"

Tell no One 2008

Sarah's Key 2010(Kristin Scott Thomas shows her diversity in this and Tell No One she can play a French woman, English woman, or an American. If it wasn't for Monica Belluci she coukd have very well emded up being the most raped woman European cinema.

The Lives of Others 2006(exceptional depiction of East and West Germany and the relentless "Big Brother" aka the Stasi.

Aksel Hennie is quite an amazing actor soon he will definitely be recognized more widely by Hollywood and get some other good leading roles.
